If you use this, please post your recording as a video response! My authentic orchestral instrumental karaoke (no voice) rendition of "Bring Him Home" from Les Miserables. I am a composer and producer who creates music for film and television. I enjoy producing the most realistic sounding renditions of orchestral music. This version of "Bring Him Home" is incredibly authentic and has an absolutely realistic orchestral sound. Broadway / recording quality.
This is Valjean's prayer to God for the safety of Marius in the coming battle. He sees in Marius what he once was himself, many years earlier. Sing this in almost a whisper of falsetto, that builds toward the middle, and comes back to pianissimo for the end.
This track is molto rubato, so there are areas where the tempo is steady, and there are areas where there are holds, like the orchestra is breathing along with the singer. Make sure to learn those musical breaks and overall timing to create the best performance possible.
Enjoy. This level of realism takes a painstaking amount of time and effort.

I cry every time I sing this song. It just comes naturally. When I every heard it for the first time, it was a beautiful acappella arrangement from a barbershop quartet that left me weeping and I not only have that memory to draw from, but I lost my mother in March 2014 and I'd do anything if I could 'let her live' and have her 'brought home' to me. I am doing this for an audition tomorrow and I know I will weep and either it will move them to tears or make me look like the biggest idiot around. lol. I do a good job in singing it though so that is a plus.

I am trying to sing this for something important to me, and when I do sing this song, I always cry at the end......love this song though
I’ve been singing this song on stages for the past thirty-five years. And this arrangement is the closest thing to standing on the Broadway stage. Thanks!
I am a soprano female, but I find this really suits my voice and I absolutely adore singing this song! Thanks for this amazing backing! x

God on high Hear my prayer In my need You have always been there He is young He's afraid Let him rest Heaven blessed. Bring him home Bring him home Bring him home. He's like the son I might have known If God had granted me a son. The summers die One by one How soon they fly On and on And I am old And will be gone. Bring him peace Bring him joy He is young He is only a boy You can take You can give Let him be Let him live If I die Let me die Let him live Bring him home Bring him home Bring him home.
My god! Your work is wonderful! Such a sensibility. Please, for the soul I'm supposed to carry inside, make "The Imposible Dream" form Man of la mancha 2002 revival (the Brian Stokes Mitchell version). I'll be eternally thankful!
my favorite... i sing this all the time to my best friend... she loves it!...
Thank you so much! I just did a recording with your lovely instrumental! great job!

Everyone has a different vocal range.. and although there is an extent to what your genes allow you to do, most if not all people can extend their vocal range through practice. Have some confidence!

Dear KaraokeJoeful This is excellent quality! If you could make a backing track for "Who Am I?" I will repay you with the best performance of that song that you will ever hear. Cheers!

I always cry near the end of this song I tried to do a karaoke of this song on Friday.
Amazingly
I just wanted to let you know how much I love all of your karaoke versions. They are perfect and exactly what I've been looking for. I'm hoping to film some covers using them if that is all right; I will DEFINITELY post them as a video response and would very happily give you credit in the video and description if you'd like because you deserve all the praise you get. :)
That's actually the one I'm working on at the moment :)

Finally worked up the guts to take a shot at this. Les Mis is the play that made me fall in love with theatre, and this track is beautifully composed. I don't really have a Valjean voice, but I had to try one of my favorite songs. soundcloud.com/anthony-barnaby-lv/bring-him-home-karaoke-cover

The breath support you need for this piece needs to be pretty good lol. I’ve only started singing a bit ago, the notes I can hit somewhat easily but sustaining them is a different story. I’m going to be practicing breathing exercises for quite a bit before reattempting this song
OH dude that is just fantastic!Really good on you! so helpful! Please do songs such as Music of the night, anthem, make them hear you, this is just great! subscribing! :)
Oh wow ...so well done ,wish I had your talent ( I can sing it quite nicely though 😁)
OH MY! YOU SHOULD DO STARS!!!
thank you
I sing this down the octave and it suits my voice!!!!!!! xxx
I still remember my brother body being brought out to this song at his funeral 💔
If I could be honest the one I'd love to see the most would be Javert's Suicide (or Soliloquy) if that is released on your channel. I'd love it. Your instrumentals are great. and keep up the great work.
@KaraokeJoeful Nice work!
Thumbs up !
These are the best I've heard here on KZread. Unfortunately, because of a recent personal loss, I can't seem to get through these without sobbing at the end most of the time. Do you have any plans for posting anything from "Sweeney Todd?'' I would be very grateful. I really want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for these gorgeous, lush instrumentals from "les Miz." Incredible.
I recently used your video for backtrack. It was so amazing. Am posting a video of all the songs we sang in a wonderful musical night. I will share the link when it is complete
The 80's had "Take On Me", the stage had this.
I hope you don't mind, but I'm using you as an inspiration for my Orchestration class. I basically have a week from Friday (3/29/13) to finish this because my teacher wants me to have it to him like 4 weeks early so the band can rehearse it. This video is a life-saver.
Hi! Great music! I wish I could find this song in a slightly lower key. I do fine except on the highest notes. I just can't quite make them without going into a falsetto. And this is one of my favorite songs, too.
@MauricioVillalobos1973
8 жыл бұрын
+waynemingo In my opinion, most of it should be sung in falsetto since the character is praying to God. That's why it was written in that key.
Thank you that is fantastic never sung like that before but this has inspired me to try such a beautiful song will post me recording when i do it check out me others more rock songs though thanks once again keep this up very talented
Thought there was something weird about the key at karaoke, especially after it happened twice...Told both KJ's that I was singing a full octave lower than it was written for. Turns out, they DID have a version with a lower key! This is the one with the original key and it's much easier to sing if you're used to it.
