They will cut rates before election, they will pitch it as a relief to the people , try to gain some votes on that, this way market crashes hard under Trump and they use that for the midterms . I think Steven is correct about the result but you can't put a date on it. One thing I have learned is bubbles as other problems with our financial system always last much longer than they should. I can almost guarantee nothing will bust until the election , our corrupt government will do everything they have to do to keep things a float so they can get re-elected even if they have to spend the USA into the poor house for the next 50 years.

The big way the market is changing is the simple fact Saudia Arabia did not renew the petrol dollar agreement and that will weaken the dollar severely and most likely hurt it as the reserve currency. It is going to be a very bumpy road ahead.

You’re using charts from just before Covid so I’ll take your prognostications with a grain of salt - no reason to think we’ll get a breakdown that bad unless it’s a macro event. The only catalyst for that would be AI killing tons of jobs in a short period of time. There was someone who said 87M jobs could be lost to AI which in the long run I agree with but even that will take years. The biggest issue around that is the average person’s reluctance to get retrained for a new job.
