I think the 4mm is a bit of a problem for me. Metaspeed Edge plus was great. Metaspeed Sky Plus felt like going to over a bump under the metatarsal at lower pace..

Great review, thank you. Both Tracksmith (with the runner and the racer which is out soon) and NNormal have been working on shoes with swappleble midsole's, I believe Nnormal are taking it one step further by giving a shell of a shoe the ability to have difference characteristics by hot swapping during an event depending on the path ahead... all good if it allows the user to extend the life of a shoe and use less material.

Thanks! Indeed with NNormal midsoles. Different run characteristics clearly noted. I am testing them now.
Nice review..sounds like the alphafly V1 works for me..the high cadence feels good on my feet and the bounce works with my mechanics..my only issues with the alphafly V-1 is my feet get tired at around the 1/2 distance..pretty have to give them a spin..😊

AF1 is great but heel softer than here. Get back on the heels and lever forward hung up by plate at mid foot
They can very easily introduce a replacement midsole upper with more drop.. 🎉

Yes but rear of upper height could become an issue
Appreciate the review but that price ... woah, count me out. On have a richer demographic in mind than poor me! 🙂
I wear a US 8.5 in the Cloudmonster 2 and a US 9 in the Eclipse. What size should I get for the Strike?

There is no need for the upper midsole to be removable. There is really no additional benefit. They could have easily glued it. Removable top layer of midsole is a gimmick unless they offer alternatives to drop in there. For example, they could have offered different midsole drops using this scheme.
Did ON forget to drill holes in the midsole? Or do they admit now that those gimmicks aren't needed?
