This video is part 1 of the epic swim around Anglesey by two North Wales lads, Nick & John. Setting out to swim unassisted and with only kayakers to provide basic support, the pair took on 120km of fast tidal waters, offshore crossings and rough sea conditions to attempt the first-ever round-Anglesey swim. This is the story of their 4-day adventure, afloat off the North Wales coast.
Without a serious swimming background, this commitment exposed them to exhaustion, hypothermia, despair and elation. 'On Celtic tides: a swim around Anglesey' documents the highs and lows of this slightly-mad undertaking!
