Sea Kayaking Anglesey - North Stack rockfall

This was our FIRST paddle of 2017, yes that's nearly 1 year ago!!! And my LAST paddle with Matt to the present date. 2017 was an absolute disaster for sea kayaking for me, for many reasons, the main one being our old friend the WEATHER. Yes we had some good weather we always do, but it was in very short supply, and for very short periods, and getting away at short notice can be a huge problem at the best of times. So, there will be precious few trips to upload for 2017, but hopefully by the time I'm done, we will be into the 2018 season? The main focus of this trip was the reported rockfall at Parliament House Cave, which has been a favourite lunch spot sine the very beginnings of Sea Kayaking around Anglesey. I have witnessed quite a few rockfalls around the coast in my 11yrs of paddling, nothing on this scale mind, but it is something I often give thought to, and just hope that the Big Man is looking out for me as I'm good natured at heart........most of the time, ha ha.

Hi Frank, hope you are well. I thought about you the other week when I visited North Stack for first time and couldn't remember the name of the cave. I thought I know a man who does. Rewatching your fantastic videos ...again. (lost count how many times I have) I read you have had a tough few years and send you best wishes.

Beautiful scenery, I really love that area. Very nice to dream with your video, during these crazy days of lock down. We have the same dry suite, by the way. Cheers!

This video came out on a Monday morning. Now I am going to be late for work. I may have lost my job, but this video was worth it. You make some of the best kayak videos on the planet.

Thought I caught a fleeting glimpse of Jacques Cousteau in his red bob hat on the return leg there for a moment. Great images though and a most enjoyable film. Really liked the rock patterns in silhouette, very well done!

Great video thanks for sharing. How do you like the Cetus? I’m picking up a Cetus HV this spring. Are you happy with your purchase? How does it handle the rough water? You should make a in-depth Review on the pros and cons of the P&H Cetus. Take care and God Bless

The coast looks awesome up there, can't wait to try kayaking up there. I've got an inflatable kayak currently but plan to get a hard shell this summer. With your experience of sea kayaking, would you recommend a sit in or sit on top?

Hi Malcolm..............Panasonic SD90 and Sony Vegas Studio editing suite. I personally would bother with 4k, the file sizes are huge and the gain in quality is only minimal.

I don't think it's a good idea..being loud in a cave because the vibration can loosen the rock be careful.i would have gone in there too. I can't believe how nice that journey must have been great..
