Omija Punch (Schisandra Punch: 오미자화채)
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
This recipe is for a refreshing omija punch with pear and noodles. I filmed it in beautiful Munkyeong, where most of the omija in Korea is grown! Full recipe: www.maangchi.com/recipe/omija...
Omija is also known as schisandra berries, or 5-flavor berries, because they taste sour, salty, sweet, spicy, and bitter.

Sofia Anna submitted the Greek caption only a few hours after I uploaded the video! If you are one of my Greek speaking viewers, let's thank Sofia for her hard work! If you want to translate it into your language you can do it here. kzread.info_video?ref=wt&auto=yes&v=2VEXIlkDZkw

Maangchi
You described the Omija taste and texture so well that I was feeling like I was eating it 😱😀🙂

I can't believe you actually went there and filmed this Maangchi! My mom got me some omija concentrate and she told me to pour hot water with a little to drink like a tea. She said it might help with good health? I don't know if it's true but I'll try it!

Thank you for all these Summertime adventures in Korea videos. I really enjoyed watching all the people you met. I love watching the scenery and music and food you explored and created. The country side is so much more refreshing to watch. I want to make all your dish: the pollock, punch, and fresh Kim chi. I showed my mom the Army Base Stew recipe you did and now she loves to prepare it for her friends and guests. :) So much food and fun :-0
Hi Maagchi it is with pleasure that I discovered your videos not very long ago, and what a pleasure, I like your generosity and good menu thanks to you
I'm so happy for this recipe.. I saw this one in Mr. Queen and I was craving this... Thank you so much Maangchi
Such a cute video. I can tell that your host, the young man, really enjoyed your omija dish. His description was great! Thank you for your videos! Ciao!
the scenery is tooo beautiful (and so is the dish in the thumbnail)
I loved this app much. I grow schizandra and Asian pears in my New Hampshire, USA garden. My pears are never as beautiful and BIG as these, but schizandra is prolific! I make a cordial with vodka and schizandra berries. I will try this punch💟. Berries just now ripening end of August here. Thank you so much for this delightful video, Maangchi💟love you.
요즘 더워서 이 영상을 다시 찾아보게 되네요~ 시원~한 오미자차 마시고 싶어라^^
Love the music and your lovely recipes Maangchi 감사합니다!!!
Ohhhh now I really want to try!!! It looks so delicious especially with the mountains in the background.
The background is so beautiful. Truly natural beauty at it's best. I wish one day I can have the opportunity to go to Korea. Both the city and country life seem so beautiful. The punch looks good right about now. It's getting progressively hotter in NY and just looking at this recipe is making me feel cool. Great upload
어머니가 태어나신 곳이 문경인데 저는 한번도 가보지 못했어요. 현재는 미국에 살고있는데 이렇게 비디오로라도 문경을 보니 참 좋네요:)
