californiamotorbikes sells full minarelli engines for $200. Got one, rebuilt it replaced bearings and some things, and so far with about 20 miles it ran ok. Did some port work as well, so now it makes probably about 2hp increase from the stock 6hp. Gotta adjust main clutch spring to grip better due to too much power, and/or upgrade clutch assembly

Love the Minarelli Motors I’m still building my Zuma but they are definitely reliable I sold my motorized bicycle I had a Chinese motor but this is a different beginning for bicycles and their motors upgrading love it💯

You get what you pay for. I bought a kit with the same intake and this one and it’s trash, welds didn’t last a month. Replaced with a CNC’D one from Smolikperformance. But the Minarelli overall is an awesome upgrade! That first time you gas it 😳💨 … would have to see the “balanced” crank myself to believe it…

You can take the jug off & look down inside for extra holes drilled in the crank. If you see extra holes drilled then you know it's better balanced than it was stock. It's damn near impossible I read to get a perfectly balanced crank. Since you'd have to factor in - cylinder pressure, ring drag, rod length, counter weight phasing,engine rpm,stroke length,bearing friction,secondary vibrations,static mass & rocking couples if more than 1 cylinder. That's a whole lotta crazy thinking but would be required/needed to win races where every fraction of a second counts....A much better balanced than stock motorized bike crank is still a big improvement though.

Had this motor like 2 years now. I had some issues back when I ordered the engine. And wasn't very hopefully. But I held out buying a minarelli engine. And I'm still happy with the engine. I've riden it a lot. And it's still going. I did some case matching. A little porting. Ummm really haven't changed much or did much and it's been a reliable engine. If your hesitant to buy. It's a good motor for a good price. Not a rip off or underhanded company. Thanx again. I'm looking into a ms460 ms660 motor next. If u were to come out with one of those engines I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from you

Also the clutch has worked fine. I made a super clutch thinking id news it but havent. Very reliable bike and good power. When this one goes out im gonna get the 70cc or do a stihl next

Few Ideas.....You can make the magneto magnet stronger by using a strong magnet and rubbing it across it (look for instructions online) Engine heat can slowly degrade it's magnetism. Since heat isn't good for the magnet & coil & running higher RPMs, higher compression, more fuel/air,etc... is going to create more heat. I was thinking about making a magneto "trap door" cover or air scoop that can be opened up when riding, to allow airflow across the magneto/coil but can also be covered up to keep water out. I suppose you could just take the cover off but isn't good for the bolt threads. Instead of using the clutch cover & magneto gaskets. I was gonna do a test & sand down both mating surface areas nice & smooth & even for a good aluminum to aluminum metal contact/seal, to see if more engine heat will travel to the covers. If the covers do get good and warm, I was gonna put a couple small heat sinks on them. I scrounged up from discarded electronics. Also wanna get around to making an aluminum cylinder head air scoop for cooling. Was gonna do a before & after temp. test on a stock head & beefier CNH head. The aluminum air scoop will be screwed onto the fins with small heat sink screws. So it might act as a heat sink/air scoop combo. Air scoops on old air cooled dirt bikes actually worked.

Since these kits will be supplied with a PZ20 carb will you also be offering jets for this carb? I have a PZ20 carb and I can't seem to find pilot jets anywhere for this carb. Someone suggested Gasbike. I actually bought one of their kits which has a Keihin Clone carb that looks exactly like a PZ20 along with the jets they offer for like $25 bucks. The main jets fit but the pilot jets don't fit either carb. Hope you offer jets for the PZ20.

You should build a kit to turn the bike into a water cooled bike I can't really find anything for a stock motorized bicycle bottom piece

First of all I'm going to say Thank you for making these engines affordable. I'm definitely going to buy a couple of them ASAP.. I got into this motorized bicycle fun a few years back and I just love it.

need to port the case to get any real performance. those walls will block airflow on the transfers. Nice kit otherwise

Honestly was gonna skip over the minarelli and go right into a ktm 50 clone build because of the ludicrous pricing but if pricing rumors are true I will grab one of these bad boys first.

You did a great job. My only concern. You went to all that trouble to go over engine. You reinforced spokes to steel. Why not use Hub Adapters instead of rag joints?. I've seen back tires blow apart doing 40mph.

Guys i have a question minerali or phantom 85 is better with more horsepower

Why wouldn't yous go with a 52 mm piston on this kit.I have a "100" cc anbull thats comes with a 50 mm piston and that thing has crazy torque and with just home mods as in during hole in air filter top rips 43 with a 44 tooth sprocket .but it deff looks like a nice kit sweet!!

Keep in mind that if you don't port this cylinders intake and exhaust right and hone it out ,,,it will run like crap an will not have hardly any power ,,honing is a must because if you don't the piston will cold seize ,,you Need to really do your home work these before spending 500.00 on any engine,,you can buy these parts yourself an build it for more than half that price

Who is selling a conversion kit for $500? No one that I have seen.

You guys forgot something that's a jog bws scooter cilinder and does motors have a fan to cool off the cylinder that's metal not aluminum it will not last to long you can respond after you see the problems start coming. I do this everyday

I was looking at my Husqvarna 353 and thinking, when will someone work up a kit for chainsaw motors. My 353 is rated at 3.1 bhp and my 288 at over 7. Both being pro grade have rated lifespans of a minimum of 3,000 hours at full throttle. My 288 probably has over 5,000 hours and never needed anything besides a new fuel line and air filter.

You can't make a kit different bolt pattern but schuttle bike bikes build them and rdmau has a new case out to bolt some up

Thanks for watching. The cylinder is the 49.9ccc BEFORE the riser and the long stroke. 47mm bore x 40mm long crank x 1 cylinder = 69.9cc. So, this is the 70cc hybrid on a 49.9cc jug. Hope that helps! Check is back out when they are for sale-limited quantity available in mid-February

ok so its still just a 50 cc . how will this preform against a 80 cc or the yd 100 . now i get that its made better its a moped head stuck on a china doll . its a cast iron set up . so it will last alot longer head wise any way . but sell me on this why should i buy a 50 cc over a yd 100 . or a pk 80 . now if it was on a yd100 case with all that extra stuff i would be excited . but a 50 . not so sure its worth the money . just saying . sure its quality thats what your going to tell me . and you might be right . but after the phantom i think alot of people are just ready for a motor that they can trust and will get it . man even at 200 dollars this is steep asking price for a 50 .

Hey thanks for watching! The iron cylinder is the 49.9cc jug. However, the stroke on this is 40mm….the cylinder is 47mm….1 cylinder… all of that equals 79.8cc…essentially an 80cc. The 49.9 was highlighted because some use the 70cc jug and the 110. Respectively, these are entry level race engines. The exhaust that will come with the package adds an extra 18% hp. These will be reliable and worth every penny.

Just thought I could clear up the statement that a 40mm stroke plus a 47mm bore equals 79.something? My math indicates 69.397 ish. But hey I'm just curious. Otherwise the engine looks sharp....something that might actually be able to take high revs without scheduled cool down rest breaks(after break in). Best regards

Who sells a conversion kit for $500? Pretty sure your mistaken. The Olyn intake is absolutely trash. The “cnc spacer” is in fact laser cut, not cnc. That is 1000% bottom of the barrel Chinese cylinder ur talking up too. Stop misinforming people, Ethan sells a full race hybrid for $575. He actually likes that gomax sells engines tho, because 100% of the time people hit him up to replace their “broken after 1-2 rides” intake.

Don't bother to purchase this engine. A Phantom 85 has a 52mm windowed piston, and is one good looking and performing engine. Go big, or go home!

First off notice how the case isn’t port matched to the case. Second, ur advertising a Zl40mm as a 40mm stroke, when all current Zl40mm is 38mm stroke long rod. And lastly, skf is NOT top of the line. But rather, a quality budget bearing upgrade. I’d 1 million percent rather buy from Ethan, knowing that everything is done by him and that his customer service is second to none. Stop lying and misadvertising. Ur ruining the experience for first time hybrid buyers. Why don’t u mention the subpar intake will break 99% of the time? Smh

The cut away from yourself technique while using a utility knife is a government regulation standard when working in industrial setting. This guy is totally on top of his game. Nothing worse than seeing a person with a sharp object cutting towards themselves.

l10mm spacer is 20$ aliexpress / intake adaptor 10$ Aliexpress / Whole top end is 40$ aliexpress If you can't put the 3 on top of a 80cc lower half that cost 50$ Ebay. You deserve to pay 350$ for this LOL These parts have been pre made and ready to slap on a top end for years already. Just non of you realize this and pay stupid amounts cash to people that do know it. That is for a 70CC Minarelli not crap 50cc you see here! Eitherway after first 20 people slap these on Walmart bikes watching Hover videos the laws and regulations will come out in full force and hobby is dead.
