I mean think about it... this car was build in the beggining of the 90's (almost 23 years ago).. it had an electronical adjustable spoiler (!) that rise up at 62..it had 18' wheels (we are in 1992!!), it was inches larger than the regular Omega on which it was based... it had a monstrously big front spoiler with fog lights integrated to it.. and most importanly it was an homologation car for one of the greatest racing series of all time the DTM... so either u like it or not it's a masterpiece...

Wie so mancher in den Kommentaren nicht merkt wie alt das Video schon ist. Die Zeit geht immer weiter, was vor 10 Jahren mal cool war ist jetzt uncool. "Gefilmt mit einer Kartoffel". Das war halt so. :D Ein Traum von Auto.

Wahnsinns Auto! Der Irmscher 4.0 24V der beste Saugmotor den es damals gegeben hat, bzw., viele Jahre lang! Schade, dass es diese "Motorschmiede" nicht mehr gibt!

Schönes Auto , kann mich noch genau an die damalige DTM erinnern. Habe das erste Rennen mit dem EVO500 gesehen, und mir kurz danach selbst einen Omega 24V aber als Kombi zugelegt. Viel Spaß noch mit deínem Evo

@DaRonny The Omega EVO 500 is an DTM Car from the early 90s, like the Mercedes 190 EVO2. And this is an Street Version of an DTM Omega, with not so much HP like DTM but 100% DTM Look. And this Rear Spoiler is Original in the early 90s DTM, the Mercedes 190 EVO2 got the same Rear Spoiler.

To all people who don't like the Spoiler: The whole Bodykit and Spoiler is stock on this car. Opel built them like this because of the DTM Series in the early 90's. I love it and miss my old 3000 24V!

Nein der EVO hatte nen C3.0SEH 24V mit 230PS mit anderer Nockenwelle und anderer 2.8er Motronik anstatt der 1,5er der wurde extra fürn EVO gebaut

das habe ich damals auch fest gestellt und mich darüber gewundert.

nach dem c coupe is das einfach das geilste auto das opel je baute

@donoddvar @jonatbaylor That Spoiler ist standard on EVO 500. Its not meant to look good but to give aerodynamic. And yes, it's adjustable.

@Winxp500 they had 4 liter straight 6 24v`s too ive seen a couple pics of em with 4 liter as you see in this movie but as you see they were non turbo engins and made 366 hp i think it was
