I was shock that it actually looks NOS

The other day I was sitting next to a stream, it was hot, but fortunately there was a big tree which I sat underneath for the shade. As I waited for my pot to get hot, and before I started to sing, I thought, will I never own a Omega? Am I destined to a life of Ali knock offs? James! You have crossed over the river Jordan and into the promissed land! Songs will be written about you, mountains named for you. Just kidding, I love the yellow accents and damn the band, I have two words for you, nato strap. I love it, congrats!

Hahahaha fantastic. This one was a pivotal shift in my comfort zone with watch prices. I’m still trying hard not to go silly with spending. But have now bought a few more that exceed this one.

I bought mine new for £750 about 25 years ago. Worn it pretty much every day since. Looks in much the same condition is the one in the video - it's aged well (unlike the owner!)

I purchased one of these about 2 months ago! Lovely watch! Unfortunately the supposedly 2 year old service the seller described, must have been a lie, or the person who serviced it didn't do a good job. I've now taken the watch to an authorised Omega watch repairer, and it's going to cost me $1370 for the service and overhaul. The ETA 2890A2 movement with the chronograph module isn't cheap to maintain, considering the current value of these Dynamic III's. Still, I love the watch, and I don't regret now having one in my collection! Btw, I got the bracelet as well, but I really enjoy this watch on a leather strap, I highly recommend it!

I was told by Omega that the service cost of all Omega chronographs is the same. So whether it's the one in here (which is the same modular caliber as in the Speedy Reduced models) or the Speedy Professional, expect to pay the same for service. But if I ignore that bit, this Dynamic 3 Chrono is definitely one of my top 3 picks from Omega! Absolutely love the design and the dimensions! The modern stuff is wayy too large for me 😅

​@@watcheswithabdullah I didn't take it to Omega, but an authorised independent Omega watch repairer local to me. I'm getting the crown and pushers replaced, as well as a few parts within the movement. So my service is probably on the higher end. It just stings more when you compare the value of a Dynamic III to a Speedmaster.

Imo its one of the better looking pieces in omega's catalogue

I think the non chronograph version of this watch was issued to British Army officers in the 80s, definitely a keeper.

I really like that one too. But it might be a little small for me. But maybe not.

Lovely looking watch . I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2003 Michael Schumacher Speedmaster . ( 5th F1 Championship watch ) That has what looks to be a very similar strap .

Stunner. A shame about the hair pulling. I don’t know James. When something you wear doesn’t fit quite well, it’s hard for it to be a keeper. Thanks for showing it to us though!

James have this watch serviced asap. Being a 20 years old watch even if not worned it could have little lubrication left. The longer you wait the higher is the chance of causing permanent damage to the movement

Hi james I'm surprised to see a omega being reviewed on your channel as you do a lot of more affordable watches.but I think it's great that you're looking at some higher priced watches because some of the videos can get a bit similar. But this watch from omega is not for me don't like the style of the numbers and to small.yes it's a omega but it's like the air king from Rolex it just doesn't work for me .I think a watch that would suit you from omega is the under understated RailMaster what do you think about that watch James thanks John.

Beautiful watch and a vintage gem! It is definitely not a flyback chronograph. On a flyback chronograph, one can use the reset pusher without stopping the chronograph and when used this way, the seconds hand and counters will return to zero and immediately resume counting without using the start/stop pusher. Were one to stop the chronograph before using the reset pusher, it will zero all the chronograph hands and not restart as a less complicated chronograph movement would.
