He treated him with respect. More respect than a normal henchmen. I'd even go as far to say that Marlo had a slight fear of Chris, Chris just played his part and was loyal.

Marlo's crew was real devious when it came to war, they almost always seemed to be really good at laying traps for people to walk into. Omar didn't even realize he was being watched

Nah. Omar goes in too angry and doesn't take them serious at first, thinking Marlo's people are just any other crew. After he does his spiderman shit and jumps out the window, he realizes he underestimated them and goes at it a lot smarter, working from the weakest parts he can find.

@@lhfirex exactly, prime Omar wasn't angry and emotional, he took his time with reckon and having a sound plan. You don't remember season 4 when Omar walked outside in pajamas to get the newspaper and said something along the lines of "ain't no fun sparring with the pups." Omar was never that comfortable and laxed when Avon was home.

I wish we could get another series of the wire this show was golden.

No, wearing kevlar is like wearing a wool blanket over top of your clothes. One of the more realistic details in the show (although, the sweat is probably just from the crew retaking the scene a bunch of times)

Monk is Marlo’s slim charles, quiet eyes and muscle. If u ask me monk was the real one in Marlo’s crew.

What show were u watching, Monk was a bitch the only work he put in was shooting a defenseless Cutty in the leg cuz he knows he couldnt throw hands with him & was literally used as a pawn by his crew to try to trap Omar. To add insult to injury he snitched on a teenager to his boss out of jealousy

2:57 this scene reminds me of Mr. Brooks and his alter ego, or dexter and his adoptive father the dark passenger. Its the same vibe almost as if the guy he’s talking to isn’t really there but he’s around as a symbol of Omar’s thoughts to help em’ strategize or sort out the play before he makes a move. I know thats not what it really is but its just the same vibe

Wish I could have seen them two go to Atlantic city : ( - Marlo looked genuinely happy seeing Chris with his family. Only time his smile wasn't laced with some evil intent.
