Most of the politicians are corrupt and criminals. Those of us who stand for justice and are qualified should make a new party and take part in the elections. Once we have honest people in government that have no influence of Israelis or Indians lobby then good decisions will be made in favor of people and justice.

I am reverting to Islam. I am reading the Quran. Slowly. I am taking my time reading it in English, listening to phrases in Arabic, trying my best to read and learn. I practice praising Allah for everything, even the bad. To hate Islam is to hate Allah in my eyes. It hurts me that someone would say this is evil, that’s when I know they haven’t opened the Quran at all. Not even the first page. I pray that this journey will show me the true path and guide me to paradise.

@@choobhabibmohamed-habib7115 I’ve taken the Shahada and affirmed my faith that Allah(SWT) is the only God and Muhammad (PBUH) is the messenger of Allah. I’ve felt nothing but peace and happiness. I’ve started practicing praying. I don’t know prayers as of yet, but I follow videos and guidance on how to perform Salat. It’s liberating. I feel free when I pray. I feel at peace. I’ve quit alcohol, I’m weening myself off of cannabis, I’m weening myself off vaping. I’ve given up pork. My girlfriend supports me and has given me the respect i asked for and more during this change and supports me fully. She even said it’s a change and refreshing having a Muslim boyfriend (HA). Allah has only blessed me since I’ve recognized him at the only true source of happiness and praise in my life. When I had no one and was almost homeless, it was Allah who sat with me everyday. It was Allah who moved me where I am now. It was Allah who convinced me to go back to college. It was Allah who gave me the mind I have now. Thank you for your prayer, Jazāk Allāh

hello zane. 1) you can't learn a faith by reading a holy book. go to the public library. there are tons of books and ebooks so you can compare different religions. take your time and learn the basics. don't be suckered by muslim proselytizers and ex christians who hook you with sweet words and complicated arguments. 2) think about this. islam was invented by muhammad and his companions. whenever a muslim says christianity was invented by saul of tarsus i can say the same about islam. it was invented by muhammad of mecca. muhammad the arab who pretended to be a prophet like the jewish prophets and used religion to conquer the middle east. 3) once you walk the path into islam the rules make it very hard for you to leave. 4) at some point you should learn the story of Al Fadi. quote "As a militant Muslim, I never expected to have any dealings with Christians, much less to befriend them." Listening to this video gives me so much hope. 10 years ago I married a Palestinian in the most unexpected way when I was at my lowest drinking my life away going in the wrong path and crying begging God to send me someone to change my life to guide me in the right direction. Til today I have not read the Quran and what’s going on with Gaza and seeing people post the Quran verses I started reading it this week. May God continue to guide us all for a better life 🤍✌🏼🇵🇸🇲🇽

He’s been criticised heavily online over the past few years, but as Muslims our intention in advising our brothers should be to help them rectify their mistakes, not to destroy them. Imam Omar has made some moves recently in reaction to the criticism and we should allow him time to rectify other problems within Yaqeen without going into the dark sinful territory of slander.

I am a native woman and was given the The Quran many years ago by a taxi driver that took me to appointments after my cancer surgery. I would recommend you to go to the nearest Mosque in your area and get all the information you need to help you understand the QUR'AN before reverting to Islam. Islam is the most Powerfull and Beautifull Religion in the world. Islam is also a way of life that you have to life your life by on a daily basis. We as has to respect the Law of the land. Imam Omar is someone I will stand by firm with. I’m not just saying this for the sake of saying it, this is from me listening to him speak over the years. Mashallah Tabarakallah he is an amazing soul and may Allah bless him the highest rank in Jannah. He has made me deeply fall in love with the religion just by how beautifully and eloquently he talks about Islam and the stories and lessons for us to take from it. To be honest I have really not been okay at all ever since October 7th but it is only because of him I have been able to be strong. The calmness he brings to not only myself but everyone else that is struggling to keep going after seeing everything we have been seeing on a daily basis. I truly am thankful to listen to him speak during all this. I always look out for any video he puts out because apart from Salah and dua listening to him speak has been a source of calmness. I know he’s tired and I admire how he’s been able to keep his composure and still remain the same beautiful person that he is inside out. Jordan Peterson can never come close to him. They’re not even on the same level. I hope he knows what an amazing job he’s doing speaking up for Palestine. We stand with you 🇵🇸🇵🇸✊🏻

Ive been watching shiekh omar suleiman for a long time, always smiling and educating even in debates with jews and Christians. His personality of smiling, and keeping calm is what most us wish we had. Him making dua against these tyrants, may Allah swt accept it and let him deal with them as he see fit. And may he Turn our brother omar smile back on again. And liberate masjid al aqsa for us and allow to pray with our bothers there. And re-unit the Ummah hearts as one upon the deen.

But if they turn away, then say, "Bear witness that we are submitting to Him."O People of the Book! Why do you argue about Abraham, while the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until long after him? Do you not understand? Here you are - those who have argued about that of which you have [some] knowledge, but why do you argue about that of which you have no knowledge? And God knows, while you know not. Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was one inclining toward truth, submitting to God. And he was not of the polytheists. Indeed, the most worthy of Abraham among the people are those who followed him [in submission to God] and this prophet [i.e., Muhammad] and those who believe [in his message]. And God is the Ally of the believers.(Quran Ali 'Imran[3]:64-68) If the People of the Book had believed and feared God, We would have written off their evil deeds and would have surely admitted them to the Gardens of Bliss. If they had upheld the Torah and the Injīl (Gospel) and what had been sent down to them from their Lord (the Quran), they would surely have had plenty to eat from above them and from beneath them. Among them are moderate people. As for most of them, evil is what they do. O Messenger, convey all that has been sent down to you from your Lord. If you do not, then you shall not have conveyed His message (at all). God shall protect you from the people. Surely, God does not lead the disbelieving people to the right path. Say, “O people of the Book, you have nothing to stand on, unless you uphold the Torah and the Injīl(Gospel) and what has been sent down to you from your Lord.” What has been sent down to you from your Lord will certainly make many of them more persistent in rebellion and disbelief. So, do not grieve over the disbelieving people. Surely, those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the Sabians, and the Christians - whoever believes in God and the Last Day, and acts righteously, shall have no fear, nor shall such people grieve.(Al-Quran Al-Ma'idah,[5] 65-69) Everyone turns to their own direction ˹of prayer˺. So compete with one another in doing good. Wherever you are, God will bring you all together ˹for judgment˺. Surely God is Most Capable of everything.(Al-Quran Al-Baqarah, Ayah 148) We have sent down to you the Book with truth, confirming the Book before it, and a protector for it. So, judge between them according to what God has sent down, and do not follow their desires against the truth that has come to you. For each of you We have made a law and a method. Had God willed, He would have made a single community of people, but (He did not), so that He may test you in what He has given to you. Strive, then, to excel each other in good deeds. To God is the return for all of you. Then God shall tell you about that in which you disputed. (Al-Quran Al-Ma'idah, Ayah 48) If God so willed, He would have made all of you a single community, but He lets whom He wills go astray and takes whom He wills to the right path; and surely you will be questioned about what you used to do. (Al-Quran An-Nahl, Ayah 93) All the people were no more than a single community; later, they differed. But for a word from your Lord that had already come to pass, a decisive judgment would have been made about their mutual differences. (Al-Quran Yunus, Ayah 19) Say (Muhammad PBUH), “As for me, my Lord has guided me to a straight path, the straight religion, the faith of Abraham who was upright and was not of those who associate partners with God. Say, “My prayer, my offering, my life and my death are for God, the Lord of all the worlds. For Him there is no partner. And thus I have been commanded, and I am the first one to submit.” Say, “Should I seek a lord other than God while He is the Lord of everything? And nobody does anything but to his own account, and no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return. Then He will let you know what you were disputing about.” It is He who made you the vicegerents of the earth and raised some of you in ranks over others, so that He may test you in what He has given you. Surely, your Lord is swift in punishing, and surely He is Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful.(Al-Quran Al-An'am[6]161-165)

They are the ones true in faith. Say, “Do you inform God of your faith, when God ˹already˺ knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth? And God has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of all things.” They regard their acceptance of Islam as a favour to you. Tell ˹them, [Muhammad PBUH ], “Do not regard your Islam as a favour to me. Rather, it is God Who has done you a favour by guiding you to the faith, if ˹indeed˺ you are faithful. Surely God knows the unseen of the heavens and earth. And God is All-Seeing of what you do.”(Al-Quran Al-Hujurat[49]13-18)

Catholics also have a practice that is similar! We pray the rosary at graveyards for God to have mercy on their souls. the term is “Memento Mori” latin for “Remember you will die.” I find it fascinating that Islam does a similar thing. My brother, who i understand very well and is not ever prone to flattery once said of the people of Muslims " There such nice people ". I was taken back by it because he is such an introverted man and ive never heard him pass judgement on anyone or voice a strong opinion. He married his nice Muslim and became part of your community's. I lost track off him because life has a tendancy to focus us in different directions, but the last i heard he was attending your faith groups and living a very fulfilled life and had a position of respect in the workforce. I drifted forward , into my existance then knowing i would never have to worry about my brother again. Im starting to see what he meant . Allowing me to listen to your conversations is a privilege and im honored by it. ( like the tukes )

As soon as you mentioned making dua for Palestine, I felt chills all over my body. I commented earlier on a post about setting our prayers and intention on peace for Palestine/Gaza. Confirmation. ❤

Thank you for having Dr. Omar; since I started to embrace the deen more, I listen to his khutbah, lessons of The First and follow Yaqeen Institute channel. His soothing voice and his smile is is trade mark, thus his statement to JP caught me by surprise. I thought, shouldn’t we be sabr and pray for him so he will be guided… but then since I studied Islam, hell is such a cruel place and a cruel word to be wished upon our brothers and sisters in Gaza. So, yes, I agree, as he mentioned, the hypocrisy is all unveiled and JP deserves that du’a from Dr. Omar. As usual, his words in this show is soft but strong at the same time. May Allah SWT grant Dr. Omar health likewise to my brothers The Three Muslims. Thank you, this session was very rich and educating I watched it twice in a row to soak in. Jazakallah.

Did Jesus founding Christianity? Did moses founding Judaism? And Muhammad founded Islam? PBUT all. And Of course it doesn't . We must Focus on what God has commanded, practice the teachings as in The Holy Scriptures of God(The Torah, the Gospel, the Quran) And obey the prophets, religion is made by man only make ppl blind eyes blind heart fanaticism Hostility arises. God sent down The Holy Scriptures and send the prophets to deliver the words of God and The theaching monotheism/tauhid/Abraham faith. God commanded is to serve Him alone (God The creator) And obey the prophets and to keep and practice the Torah, Gospel and Quran correctly. Therefore, God says (Quran 2:62) which means that he (God) does not really care about the religion man chose as long as they serve him alone the one true God. and Definitely we will face God on the day of judgement and we will be questioned responsible for our actions. we have to be ready for this day:;Verily, those who believe, the Jews, the Christians and the Sabians, whoever (among them) believes in God and the Last Day, and does good deeds, they will have their reward from their Lord. there is no fear in them, and they do not grieve.(Al-Quran 2:62) Say, "O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is equitable between us and you - that we will not worship except God and not associate anything with Him and not take one another as lords instead of God." But if they turn away, then say, "Bear witness that we are submitting to Him."O People of the Book! Why do you argue about Abraham, while the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until long after him? Do you not understand? Here you are - those who have argued about that of which you have [some] knowledge, but why do you argue about that of which you have no knowledge? And God knows, while you know not. Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was one inclining toward truth, submitting to God. And he was not of the polytheists. Indeed, the most worthy of Abraham among the people are those who followed him [in submission to God] and this prophet [i.e., Muhammad] and those who believe [in his message]. And God is the Ally of the believers.(Quran Ali 'Imran[3]:64-68) If the People of the Book had believed and feared God, We would have written off their evil deeds and would have surely admitted them to the Gardens of Bliss. If they had upheld the Torah and the Injīl (Gospel) and what had been sent down to them from their Lord (the Quran), they would surely have had plenty to eat from above them and from beneath them. Among them are moderate people. As for most of them, evil is what they do. O Messenger, convey all that has been sent down to you from your Lord. If you do not, then you shall not have conveyed His message (at all). God shall protect you from the people. Surely, God does not lead the disbelieving people to the right path. Say, “O people of the Book, you have nothing to stand on, unless you uphold the Torah and the Injīl(Gospel) and what has been sent down to you from your Lord.” What has been sent down to you from your Lord will certainly make many of them more persistent in rebellion and disbelief. So, do not grieve over the disbelieving people. Surely, those who believe, and those who are Jews, and the Sabians, and the Christians - whoever believes in God and the Last Day, and acts righteously, shall have no fear, nor shall such people grieve.(Al-Quran Al-Ma'idah,[5] 65-69) Everyone turns to their own direction ˹of prayer˺. So compete with one another in doing good. Wherever you are, God will bring you all together ˹for judgment˺. Surely God is Most Capable of everything.(Al-Quran Al-Baqarah, Ayah 148) We have sent down to you the Book with truth, confirming the Book before it, and a protector for it. So, judge between them according to what God has sent down, and do not follow their desires against the truth that has come to you. For each of you We have made a law and a method. Had God willed, He would have made a single community of people, but (He did not), so that He may test you in what He has given to you. Strive, then, to excel each other in good deeds. To God is the return for all of you. Then God shall tell you about that in which you disputed. (Al-Quran Al-Ma'idah, Ayah 48) If God so willed, He would have made all of you a single community, but He lets whom He wills go astray and takes whom He wills to the right path; and surely you will be questioned about what you used to do. (Al-Quran An-Nahl, Ayah 93) All the people were no more than a single community; later, they differed. But for a word from your Lord that had already come to pass, a decisive judgment would have been made about their mutual differences. (Al-Quran Yunus, Ayah 19) Say (Muhammad PBUH), “As for me, my Lord has guided me to a straight path, the straight religion, the faith of Abraham who was upright and was not of those who associate partners with God. Say, “My prayer, my offering, my life and my death are for God, the Lord of all the worlds. For Him there is no partner. And thus I have been commanded, and I am the first one to submit.” Say, “Should I seek a lord other than God while He is the Lord of everything? And nobody does anything but to his own account, and no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return. Then He will let you know what you were disputing about.” It is He who made you the vicegerents of the earth and raised some of you in ranks over others, so that He may test you in what He has given you. Surely, your Lord is swift in punishing, and surely He is Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful.(Al-Quran Al-An'am[6]161-165)

Islam is not religion. The word Islam is derived from the word salam, which means peace, surrender; submission and obedience to God's commands. Islam is referred to as a religion because the people who call them in the actual group ppl the followers of God's messenger Muhammad ﷺ. Allah himself divides humans into 3 groups, The believers (Mukmin), musrikin and munafikun . Actually it is not a problem if we followers of the prophet Muhammad ﷺ and call yourself as Islam as long as we don't feel the most righteous. They are the ones true in faith. Say, “Do you inform God of your faith, when God ˹already˺ knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth? And God has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of all things.” They regard their acceptance of Islam as a favour to you. Tell ˹them, [Muhammad PBUH ], “Do not regard your Islam as a favour to me. Rather, it is God Who has done you a favour by guiding you to the faith, if ˹indeed˺ you are faithful. Surely God knows the unseen of the heavens and earth. And God is All-Seeing of what you do.”(Al-Quran Al-Hujurat[49]13-18)

Watching this video really gave me some peace tonight after ive been feeling terrible all day because of Watching mainstream media debates on palestine. And now many other people come as settlers from their countries and live the "free" life and take advantage of all the hard work that the evil colonial settlers did?? Our God gave us free will, and you and I and your grandparents all live in a free country. Freedom is good and bad, isn't it? If I love my God ,I will obey him, just as I would my spouse. If I love my country I will follow the laws of the land.. But, I could also, be a criminal. A murderer, a rapist, pedophile, thief...Our Laws and judicial system are supposed to get these people off the street. (I say kill them, but I'm not a good Christian). If you think my religion and my political party is happy with the way the USA is heading, you're crazy!! There are many things that the Jews, Christians, and Muslims have in common. I'm sure you'd agree we are living in a perverse land and time. Yes? You seem to blame all North Americans for the problems we suffer from. You've lived here long enough to know how voting works. Its true when i was a child 25 years ago and we were primed to be resilient and not scared.. because the idf would purposely try to scare kids and women. they were very intimidating however they truly are cowards that have no clue who shouldnt be there they just harassed us all day they start the crime but kill us for not being afraid....but as a child in Palestine it was absolutely beautiful and safe aside from the occupation it was beautiful in every way. The way of life was better .. it was some of my best memories i could have ask for i miss it 😢
