One thing I observed and am very sure of it is that the young Omanis, unlike the other young guys, in their neighbors in the other Gulf countries, don't act like smart-assess and are very natural, friendly, and straightforward people. I love them! They exhibit no arrogance and down-to-earth citizens.

Having lived in Oman for 3+ years as a foreigner, this documentary is spot on. Oman is a beautiful place to visit, locals are very friendly and cheap for traveling. I have great memories from my stay there. It's a really safe country as well even for solo female travelers. Long live Oman :)

This is one of the most truthful and honest representations of Oman on celluloid. I have lived there for 15 years and loved every moment of it. The country slowly grows on you and you don't feel like leaving it. The people are very warm, honest and friendly. The Government takes care of its own people and also the expat population working there. It's one of the safest countries to live in besides being very clean. The weather in Oman is extremely hot during Summer for 8 months and extremely cold during winter. This video has rightly captured the details of the few places in Oman worth visiting, otherwise, it's just a huge empty landscape.

I have no idea what's wrong with you but in January 2023 they've got 26-28C. That's very cold? Then come in Germany, right now we have -8C, night time will drop to -13-15C

Guys, please take my advice to heart: I'm a citizen of Oman and if you want to experience the true beauty of the country do *not* repeat the same mistake of most tourists and visit the capital, do sightsee *all* other places in Oman except the capital and you will be happy. There's nothing unique about the capital really. Thanks :)

Geography now has its on own style, so you can’t compare to this. Geography now is good and if I wanted a simple overview of the country, I watch geography now. He doesn’t visit the countries, and if he does, he shows you his experience. Cool vision actually goes to the country and does a good review of what he sees, observes and experience. The two channels are unique in their own way.

@@JaymesWebbs I recommend you to visit Oman between November to March, the weather is very good at this time of year in all Oman, if you like tropical weather you can visit Salalah city in the summer 🏝️🌞, Muscat is wonderful city in the middle east, there are many activities you can do it in the mountains, vallies, beaches and desert 🏜️, if you like traditional place you can visit Nizwa city, you can find Alsaifi halwa there, very delicious 😋

Oman is a beautiful country and people are excellent in hospitality. I have been lucky to have lived in Oman for 30 years watching the progress since 1969

I had the privilege of living in Oman for twelve years as a part of my work, and I have seen most of the places shown in this video. The Omanis are very nice people, especially the ones who are very friendly to foreigners. I loved watching this video as it brought back memories of my time in Oman. Oman is one of the our favourite destinations !They are the friendliest people and so hospitable !

I am an Indian (Hindu by religion) living and working in Oman for the last 23 years. came here in 18th January 2000, I go to my home country every 6 months and roughly stay in my place in Kerala for 1 month. Oman is a wonderful country for expatriates to stay. Very friendly locals.

Oman is the best and the safest as well , this video has completely changed my mind towards Oman 🇴🇲 and its people, culture and heritage. I've committed that I'll vist Oman 🇴🇲 one-day.

I taught in Salalah at Dhofar University almost 20 years ago. This video shows so much has changed. Makes me want to go back and visit.

A well-made documentary-style video. This video has inspired me to decide to relocate to Oman soon. I currently reside in Dubai , which is incredibly artificial, has no culture owing to the vast amount of expatriates, and quite hostile and proud locals. On the other hand I've met Omani folks here in Dubai who are also quite kind, and my native country of Sri Lanka is rich with greenery, so I won't miss it as much because Oman preserves its culture and nature far better than the UAE.

The way you portrayed and showed everything in this video , literally I was feeling like I am seeing everything in person and I am physically there .. As in most places… I think the people are the amazing treasure. Heritage preservation is so important. Their architecture is absolutely beautiful, from the top end mosques to the villlage architecture. I predict a rich future with lots of very happy tourists!! I lived in Muscat from 1965 to 1970 from the age of 5 to 10. I loved it but it was desperately poor. The massive improvements over the subsequent 50 years are awesome. A report to the UN in the mid 1960s described Muscat & Oman (as it was then known) as a country "rushing fast into the 12th century". Well, it's rushed a long way. I hope to return one day.

I have watched several of your videos and one thing I admire about the most about your videos is how much respect you show to the locals. You respect everyone!

You brought back memories of when I was an expat in Oman. I was there for 4 months and I was constantly exploring the country. I visited most of the places you hi-lited and then some. I highly recommend it and I'm an American.

Visited in 1990. The airport was like a bus stand and the city of muscat was small. Good to see it growing while preserving the old charm. Would love to visit again.

Even though I am an Omani who lived my whole life here, I enjoyed this beautiful video very much. Very refreshing indeed.
