Never could finger whistle, but could do a loud whistle without them. Then, at age 65 I got braces on my teeth. Can't do that whistle any more.... I do like Caleb's break downs. Actually, as a swimmer and coach, I was impressed with the swimming in several of these. They were clearly using real competitive swimmers, though not necessarily of the same caliber they were portraying. Sort of a limited pool for actors who also swam competitively in high school or college and look the part. I wish they'd do that kind of thing more often, like in the first example, that WAS terrible. And I'm a horrified that they kept that scene with the kid where the edit was clearly to cover up someone rescuing him.

It's interesting that he mentioned college, because I was in the swimming team with him in college. Do you know when some athletes say that they knew they had the potential to make it because even though they were competing against people in their category, they stood out? That's the realization I had while observing the rest of the guys I swam against. This dude here was absolute INSANITY. I used to swim because I liked it, but didn't have the drive nor the objective to make it further, but he wouldn't let anyone get to him. Even when we used to train indoors to practice our timing, we weren't really a challenge for him.
