It 100% does sound better! I know nothing about her music, I primarily listen to Classic Rock and Country a little hip hop... So when I turned on the Grammy's recently, I had absolutely zero idea who this girl was or why she was so popular? Honestly, I'd never heard of her or her songs. As I was getting ready to turn the channel, the host who introduced her, really hyped her up and made her out to be a huge deal. This was a middle-aged man acting like a schoolgirl around her so I was quite intrigued. Fortunately, I stayed to listen as this song came on........... I was absolutely *Blown* *Away* by her voice! Nearly the voice of an Angel- very beautiful. I don't think I've ever said that about anyone- She's pretty cute. Weeks later, I hopped on KZread to search the original music video and I was wondering why it didn't sound near as good as her live Grammys performance? That was the first time I've ever heard it and it was clearly better live you're spot-on... We are used to live performances not sounding as good, but she f'ing killed it. The background, the old classic Mercedes, the nighttime fog, and the birds we're super cool. They had a certain mysterious auora didn't they? Something about her looks reminds me of Kourtney Kardashian a bit?.. that could just be me though. I couldn't help but think- whatever old boyfriend she's singing about, he probably is kicking himself for losing her after she's become a rising 🌟? Haha Then again, as the song says maybe he's fine without her. I had a similar situation once and as hot as many of my friends thought she was, I just couldn't feel the attraction anymore after getting to know her... But then again, she never became famous and quickly made millions..

It blows my mind that Olivia Rodrigo is only 19. "Favorite Crime" is my favorite song on Sour - if any other artist would've performed it, no one would guess it was written by a 17/18yr old. The maturity in her songwriting is on another level. This is coming from a 38yr old woman who related to every song on Sour.

Oliva’s music makes me feel something…it’s just so perfect. And she sings with such raw emotion and amazing stage presence. Oliva most definitely deserved this win! This whole performance was just iconic! 3:49 in this scene oliva looks stunning!

It’s not really my type of music but I’m not deaf or blind and can clearly see this girl is a rare talent. She actually sang her song on stage at one of the big rewards shows without any bs just her beautiful voice is so much better than all the dancers and backing vocal tracks you can have.
