i would gladly call myself one of olivers biggest fans, ive been on his concert lately, i was in the front row, and he kept smiling at me cause i kept screaming i love you when it was quiet, he even took my painting and its now in his tour bus, he noticed me many times on my social media aswell. i love his music, is character and his true personality. i really dont understand the hate he gets, i even saw him together with casey before the concert, he looked really shy and cute

Honestly Thundercat is an amazing musician (he's one of my favorite new artists) and Drunk is an amazing album of his. Do you know him? I highly recommend it. Regarding Oliver Tree...totally agree with every sentence! Ugly is Beautiful was a fantastic album.

hello fellow floridian. yeah the amount of promo he did for that album was crazy.. he had that world's biggest scooter video, he was on every big podcast that focused on internet culture plus he had the songs and music videos to back it all up.. that was his load and honestly who knows, he might be able to coast off that material for the rest of his life tour-wise

I enjoyed it enough but agree that the songs are too short. I’m feeling the sad songs personally because I just lost my best friend in the world. Elevator To The Sky made me cry the first time I listened to it. I actually really like Ugly Side until he starts rapping. I know he likes to rap a lot but I find a good deal of it pretty cringey.

i like this album but the songs are a little bit poor and they seem to have been done in a hurry, i mean they sound good, but it's like something is missing, that needs a boost, oliver in the first album used to play a lot more with the voice and the music, but now it just seems like 1 chorus repeated twice and the song is done.

I loved your videos and your views and oppinions however I disagree with a few of them and that you’ve got it wrong.(this is long btw) He didn’t make alone in a crowd because of the success of Miss You.He has been making alone in a crowd for a couple of years now and it was his record label who forced him to put Miss You on the album so it’s not as much as a flop as cowboy tears. Speaking of Miss You,he cleared up that it was his record that forced him to put Miss you out and he didn’t knew Southstar made the song and wanted to call it Jerk-Remix (this was from an interview he just did where he wasn’t playing a character and was himself). Most of the songs on the album are short as people these days watch a lot of short video content like ugly side. The albums music videos are a storyline about his new character. Cornelius Cummings is an fashion designer from Belgradia London.He is sorta like Balenciaga. He creates new characters as he wants to try out new things and he didn’t want to be Turbo forever.However,I agree with you that he should of just stuck to Turbo instead of moving on to Shawney Bravo.I think his new album is alright it’s just not getting a lot of attention atm.

so i would like to explain the main questions you are asking in your video. first of all. oliver didnt had any success with his music before, so he created the turbo character and created some memes and vines, he later found success in it and kept the character for his music which gave him a lot of fame. later on he got tired of wearing the same outfit everyday so he created the shawny bravo character and designed his music in the country style. he sang about all of the heartbreaks he had and hoped to find some fans who would feel the same and to like his new album, which failed sadly, and after only 1 year he didged the cowboy era, meanwhile the miss you song got viral. and like you already said, his songs are getting shorter and his music videos more uncreative, they due are telling the story of his newest character cornelius, if you watch the "with you" video you will be contronted with the truth that everything we saw in the music videos before was a delusion and thathe is an insane and lonely person. so he saw that the songs and music videos with the less effort got the most attention, so he thought it was a great idea to do it for the rest of his music videos.

I think it’s time for him to bring back to turbo era

Bash Rex Viper all you want, But Oliver is a true artist.. He has art within his art, Layered in every aspect. He is the songbird of the 90s kids, The new album is actually very innovative and touches hard with his roots of Mr. Tree and Kryph.

The album was mid… But he releases the deluxe edition with a bunch of his old B sides which in my opinion saved it. But if you’ve never heard his early stuff before turbo. Check out the album splitting by Mr. Tree. And after watching you critique Rex viper and Oliver I’ve finally checked out your band.. I really enjoyed it!

Tbh i never really vibed with his music too much to begin with. Might be an unpopular opinion but it just didn't strike me as much as others

Oliver Tree is one talented dude. I like his vision for the music videos and all the albums. Some more, some less. Ugly Is Beautiful is the best one by far.. so far. Overall I really like the new album but at the same time. Handful of these tracks feel too bland and lifeless, like he’s playing it too safe.
