Arguably, having the people behind you is more valuable than money. He is a Christlike figure to a lot of people. His name is Christopher. 🤷🏽‍♂️ I don’t think anybody could’ve planned for this. It’s a pure movement of relative desperation. If he were to be epsteined he would already be a martyr. Very few humans that have ever lived get to have this big of an impact on the world. I like the way he humbles himself. I don’t think he needs to contribute anything more than what he already has. In fact, I would say anything he would say after going viral is contaminated. His impact is worldwide and reaches beyond race and religion. With very few words, He became the voice of the people.

if the IRS was dismantled and we just paid a flat tax we could live a living wage. I have been noticing every time money is moved its taxed (us working folk) but millionaires exploit the tax code which seems to be written for them to where they pay nothing. Can you believe SSI checks get taxed?! They already took it to begin with and they take part of it when they give it back.....red coats did this by kicking down doors before revolutionary war started.

Everybody wants money, including Oliver. But it's about "how bad do you want it"? Are you willing to sell your soul? Abandon or compromise your principles for it? Oliver seems to say he won't. That's rare. That resonates with the core of America. And not just America, but folks across the globe. That's what is great about social media, it allows something like this song to reach masses.

This young man walks his talk. He stands up for community and dignity for all people. I'm grateful that he drew the line on other people interpreting the meaning and theme of his now very famous song. Honestly, I think this song is as big as the Star Spangled Banner written by Francis Scott Key and I don't think he realizes that's essentially how we all feel about it. It's not just another country song, it's like he tapped into each and every one of our souls and pulled out the lyrics. It's that profound. I shed tears when I hear it. It really is the anthem of all of the people crying out for help. It's almost therapeutic to hear our frustrations with the people in power screwing us over non-stop, with us feeling like we're just gonna have to sit here and take it, and then have someone put it into words so perfectly. We all feel it and it's uniting us all.

This makes me tear up....I absolutely LOVE Oliver Anthony!! He's going to change the world! Look at how many people feel the same way as he does. I am in Maine & had just left NC last week. I so wish I could have made it to one of his free concerts before I left but hope he comes to our small town in Bangor, Maine some day! (we do large outdoor concerts). People get really quiet when they hear the Word of God. It never fails to amaze me.

Scripture needs to be read more often. Ecclesiastes is such a relevant book.

It’s nice to see a real human being with morals and no time for the evil in this world . An old soul .

I don't know exactly why this man has been elevated and promoted to his current viral status in life but I will say that his message has been sorely missed in mainstream America and long overdue. No matter where he goes from here, I can say that I'd rather him make it big in music than practically anyone else in this country that I can currently think of. The young man is an inspiration and more than solid role model for all of the kids & young adults out there. To that I say, Amen.

This man makes me cry and gives me hope. I admit that i feel a little scared for him. I can't imagine going from writing songs and picking guitar out in the woods with his dogs to singing in front of thousands of people. Yes, they adore him, but it seems to me it would be like being eaten alive. I guess maybe he isn't an introvert like me. I love that he reads unashamedly from the Bible and actually lives the Word. God watch over and protect this beautiful soul. Thank you for the gift of his talent and soul.

I just love this man’s heart! His heart, for the Lord is heart of Daniel it seems! I support him and his decision to give up $8 million and give up 8 million Temptations! Praise the Lord!

People are hungry, starving actually, for a leader, a man of substance, a man of conviction who, whether intentional or unintentional, is capable of inspiring the common man and woman to action. People's hearts are breaking; they need to know they are not alone. This young man's message does just that, and is the right message at the right time. True greatness usually starts from very humble beginnings.

I think Mr. Anthony is going to shake up the people who need to be shaken over the next few years. This guy hits a chord (metaphorically) with the working class. A good guy, and a great musician.

This man is the real deal. I thank him for giving the world hope.

Oliver was reading from Ecclesiastes chapters 1 and 5 in the Old Testament by Solomon. I see parallels between these passages and Oliver’s songs and to some extent his life. Unlike Oliver, Solomon had great riches and power but was not content. Solomon indulged himself in all kinds of worldly pleasures but found it all to be pointless “vanity”. In the end Solomon found purpose in living and serving God. Oliver passed up an $8M deal and he ‘aint got a dollar but he doesn’t need a dime’. Oliver is so inspirational in so many ways. May God bless him and continue to use him for great things.

Tell Chris to never sell out. He will be bigger than Nashville or Hollywood.
