Great review. I love my Baton 3, although I like the moonlight mode on the Baton 4 better because it's lower.

A worthy upgrade in my opinion. Still rocking my baton 3 though

Not a bad pocket light at all. Kinda sucks its nit more efficient really. Seems like they just cut the moon light in half to get a longer run time. Half a lumen is ideal but i would have rathered a more efficient emitter

I prefer the baton 3 pro or the warrior mini 3 - those guys are just too small in my opinion 😎

Great review... Does the baton 4 still have the timer function like the 3. One of my favorite functions no one seems to talk about. I use it as a timed camping night light.

In your comparison did you see the color temperature / tint on the Baton 4 be more green-ish?

Same fail as S1R Baton 2, Mode High starts a lot of lumen and then falls down... That's implies worst runtime than S1R Baton 3...😥

@@sneak916 Doesn't it get hot when you hold it? How many minutes does it take for it to get hot if you turn it on at maximum output?

@@Tarutyo It does get warm but it's not terrible. Its winter right now and I don't keep it on for long periods so it's hard for me to answer. I only plan on using the high mode for defensive use so it stays on the low mode for the majority of my use. I only have my Cloud Defensive MCH as reference and the Surefire is significantly better when it comes to regulating heat and the performance doesn't significantly drop off after a minute.

@@TarutyoWhat do you mean by hot though? Like hot to the point where you’re unable to hold it anymore? If that’s the case then you can have it on until the battery dies. The head gets hot but the body where your hand would be is only a little warm
