Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Last Manchester United Press Conference | Watford 4-1 Man Utd

Спорт

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted he is “embarrassed” by Manchester United’s current run but refused to be drawn on his future as the pressure mounted following a 4-1 hammering at Watford.
United travelled to Vicarage Road having lost four of their last six Premier League games before the international break and this heavy defeat only piled more misery on the beleaguered Norwegian.
Reports emerged later on Saturday evening that the United board had called an emergency virtual board meeting to discuss Solskjaer’s position at Old Trafford.

Anybody that can say they're a man utd fan and then go on to say they hate OGS 'as a manager' either havnt been a fan long or don't watch enough games because the way man utd have been playing recently is the exact same way we played at the end of Jose and LVG's time as manager so that tells me the players want them out after bad results to save themselves from the criticism which is a lack of respect towards the manager, ole's tactics weren't all there and there wasn't enough squad rotation so I feel its the right time for him to go so personally I can't hate the man that has got the club to its strongest point since Sir Alex especially since he is not the first manager the players have threw under the bus... any man utd fan that can say they hate this man in any way should switch to watching fifa tournaments because no fan base should tolerate that toxicity

Bro, he is indeed a good player. In terms of being a manager, he is ridiculously insane. Im so upset with his tactics, favoritism attitudes, uses of an injured player. How about a fringe player like donny, tony, bailly and etc? All these players are good, they deserve to be on the pitch, not just sitting on the bench watching the games. As for me, he needs to go. He had done everything in United, now is the time for a world-class manager to handle this team and bring us a victory and put us to where we belong to.

There is nothing wrong with Ole's team selections, tactics etc. The only missing ingredient (despite his typical praise of them) is a MASSIVE kick up the arse for the players. They have done him no favours. All the preparation, careful elections and tactics before a game are not worth sh*t if the players don't carry it onto the pitch on the day. Ferguson was successful because he had that missing ingredient, and if a player's arse was out of reach from his boot he would just throw it at them instead. It didn't win him many friends but it did win respect, which was all he needed.

He was not and is not the problem of United. It's the imbalance in the club. The hierarchy are always buying players for KZread likes and Twitter, not for United. Despite the clear lack of defensive midfielders in the club, we are buying Sancho and signing Ronaldo for an obscene salary that destabilizes the club. They need to get out, Ed Woodward and his incompetent people at the club should go out. As a United fan I love Ole, and I think a true football fan also loves and understand him. Stay strong OLE!

I don’t understand the goodwill sentiments. He was and will always be a legend of the club as a player but never for his spell as manager. He made the most basic mistakes and the list of failures are way too long for a Man United manager. He should never have been given the job in the first place and the current predicament of the club is solely down to the glazers. That’s the sad truth. He was incapable of managing this club and he didn’t have the skill set required to begin with. He was used ad abused by the glazers and he got his 7m to leave. I’m sure he’ll be all smiles in private so don’t feel so sorry for him. One thing is for certain, we won’t be seeing him managing again at this sort of level and that will pretty much sum up his managerial credentials. None existent.
