He should've been sacked after we lost to Villareal in the final.

That deep sigh tells it all, I am surprised that he can still manage to answer all those questions calmly, he's a fantastic guy.

I feel really bad for him, he’s stuck getting tortured by these losses and all this hate until the higher ups take their fingers out and sack him. Resigning isn’t the good choice, it’s all up to the highers.

How is resigning not a good choice? Everyone has a limit, and you should know when you've reached that limit, and when you do reach that, just resign because you won't be any better. Don't come to me with that "everyone can learn and get better" crap, because if all it takes to be good is trying and learning then there would be many more Pep or Klopp or Tuchel or Flick

Ole is a legend always will be. He’s took the club as far as he could, recruited a world class squad, it’s time for somebody else to United from here. He’s missing something to get the best out of the players, it seems maybe he’s too nice

Law, Charlton and best were legends. One game as a sub doesn't make you a legend. He seemed to nose dive when Ferguson brought Ronaldo in and he was told he had to play him in every game.

@@wilfredwiggins3403that’s because Ronaldo ruined his system. He had to accommodate a 36 year old after finishing 2nd the previous season scoring a record number of goals. Ronaldo comes in and everything went downhill as you said. But for me it was obvious long before the sacking. Btw whether you agree with it or not, Ole is regarded as a Utd legend

i’ve never seen him angry he’s always calm and humble after shocking defeats hopes he does better some where else

Thoroughly believed he needed more time and was very hopeful he would change it around but it's time for him to walk away not sack, gain some dignity and realise when your times up aswell as getting remaining respect from fans who still consider you a legend

This has to be his last interview surely if they wont sack him now and they keep him till end of the season mark my words we are getting relegated 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

That actually looked a real possibility 2 years ago before they signed Bruno...he seemed to bring a bit of luck (penalties) but the performances were just as bad. Brunos luck has run out too. Looks bang average...and thats being kind!

All this I feel sorry for him crap drives me mad. He’s been given millions to blow on big players, he manages one of the most successful clubs in the world. And he has as much experience in management as my kids dinner lady. And yet he’s still protected. Utd are truly in free fall and it’s wondrous to behold.

The players have stopped playing for him, it's just what modern footballers do. They want you out, they know how to get you out..

Don't expect or call him to leave the job himself. There's millions on the line in severance pay which he only gets if he gets the sack. None of us would just leave the job in a situation like this.

He always has a few smiles ready for after match interviews when they’re getting their arses kicked, even oles finding his anti football performances hilarious. 😂

He knew he was done in this interview. You could tell he was trying to hold tears back. I actually feel horrible for him. He is a Manchester United legend. Unfortunately, this spell will detract from his overall legacy as a player with the club. However, whoever comes in next has a mountain to climb. The team has a lot of talent but they frankly aren't a good fit. A new coach is not going to change that or make them competitive against squads like Liverpool, Manchester City or Chelsea. The players need to take responsibility and accept they are a huge part of the problem. It isn't just the coach. If people think Zidane or whoever is going to come in and dramatically improve their results then get off that crack pipe.

Nah i agree with this hugely. I’ve always thought the United boss is a stooge under this board. This board plays games when they can be bothered to watch any of ours. Never gave Mourinho the money they gave Ole -when Mourinho would of been more qualified to get results out of said money and signings. No creative and defensive mids signed in the summer was a massive problem. There is a massive attitude problem with many of our players. Pogba the circus should go. Maguire has never never grown into nor fully respected the armband. Players like Rashford, AWB, Maguire,Lindelof- for some reason have had untouchable spells in the team and their lack of personal development shows it. Body language whenever we conceded is always deep sighs and rolled shoulders. Awful. I do not think a tuchel wins us the league but I do think a better coach gets us better results and stops playing bizzrare, incompetent line-ups again and again. Ole is out of his depth and should of gone after last seasons EL final imo, but the rot doesn’t stop here.n

I feel so bad I was one of the fans who was angry that he smiled after games and after hearing him say sorry for smiling my heart just sank and I felt bang out of order I think I still agree with the managerial change but he seems a lovely bloke and I'm so upset to see how it's ended I hope he is looked after by people and doesn't get depression

Give Ole a 5 year deal. Well deserved 🤝

I like Ole he’s obv a great guy fair play to him for having a pair for taking the opportunity to try and improve the club from where it was - however I think he’s trying to play cricket without a bat - his players are clearly not supporting him , some of those players today looked like pub team players

I kinda feel bad for him because he seems like a very nice and friendly guy but at the same time he’s simply not good enough to manage a massive club like Manchester United and he probably knows it himself. If he somehow doesn’t get sacked tomorrow, I hope for his own sake that he resigns and admits his faults, he’ll save himself from so much abuse if he does that.
