Old West Forging Demo: Tombstone, Arizona, November,2018
Hey everyone,
Last weekend I performed an Old West forging demo with my "posse" at the Good Enough silver mine in Tombstone, Arizona. We had a fantastic time demoing for two days, forging several items from the westward expansion era. This video features, me making a skewer set, that was an essential tool of heart cooking.
We also toured the Good Enough Mine which was one of the main silver producers of the town. Its silver was discovered by Tombstone's founder Ed Schieffelin, and the claim was filed in 1878.
The mine is a tourist attraction today and offers underground guided tours.

Awesome. Tombstone is a very nice town. I am moving there permanently by the end of this year or by next summer. I am planing to do these demos on a biweekly bases. Good luck on your RV adventure!

@@DesertOwlForge Be sure you tour the old courthouse. Lot's of cool history there! I was there last year.

Thanks for the nice comment! I am lucky to have my daughters interested in working with me in the shop and eager to participate in these demos. I have great kids!

Thanks Matt! I am fascinated by the Old West especially mining and prospecting of that era, so it was easy for me to dress up and get into the mood. I'll be doing this regularly in the future and will set up a small shop there at the mine. Thanks for your continuous engagement!

Here is the link to the blower. It came from India, the shipping was real fast (DHL). The production quality is mediocre, but it functioned well enough. Only time will tell if it will last or not, I'm only using it for demos. great Video and demo. To be honest though I would have rather heard the demo than the music.

Thanks for the comment! Normally I don't use this much music but we were at a windy location and we had top use the mic of the camera, so the sound quality wasn't too great.
