I played the bass clarinet for 5 years up until my senior year was cut short by coronavirus. This honestly makes me so nostalgic...even though it was about a year ago.

@@razrv3lc Yes it's really not bad, especially for a bass clarinet, it's really not that much. Good instruments aren't cheap, if someone can save their money correctly then they should be able to have enough to buy one within a year. Yes, $1000 is not that much at all, considering a lot of them can go for between $10,000-$25,000.

Do not underestimate the bass clarinet!

Clarinet is very different from sax. Different acoustically - has a cylindrical bore instead of conical bore, which produces a very different harmonic structure and distinct voice. I love this video!
