I'm so glad this is a shared experience. It's so weird to come back to a game I spent so much time being captivated by, learning every crook and cranny, and knowing practically everything the game had to offer, for all of that knowledge and nostalgia to be gone. I feel like I'm just as new to the game as a fresh day-one player.

@@filidolphini thing is, i used to know the game by heart. but after the reworks of the different zones, it was all new to me. I've been playing more consistently so i've relearned it, but that initial shock what what threw me aside.

This reminded me how much I miss old SSO 🤧 2:30 when they changed the horse care system, that glitch started happening. The only way to get rid of it is by relogging

This is so relatable, I've been playing sso since 2015, stopped in early 2019 and now I'm playing again... It's crazy how much the game have changed in just 4 years.

i actually lost it when you said "what the hell is that" towards the friesian 😂😂 legit 90% of the community (prolly more) said that when they were released

I logged in the other day and my niece and been playing on my account so I was at steve's farm. The confusion hit HARD because the entire thing had been rebuilt and I had no idea where to go anymore xD But yeah, I started playing the game about a year after it came out but I stopped playing as I got older. It's fun to go back sometimes though to see, but yeah..get's really confusing

@@Ruffymew yeah I know 😅 when I arrived at Steve's farm, I tried finding the horses for sale and I spent way longer than I should have 😂 It's nice too see the new changes though and the horses are really pretty.

This one is so true. I remember me and my friend singing the jeapordy song in friend chat while we waited for the bus😂😂 just “do doo doo doo dooo doo doo, doo doo doo doo doo doooo” man I didn’t even realize how easy SSO made the game for players now, it’s almost sad

1:43 I remember about 5-6 years ago (id be about 7 or 8) when I started playing I'd get in trouble for chatting online a lot and get my tech taken away for years at a time. (they had a good reason as a 6 year old I put myself in ALOT of danger,) Every time I'd get it back everything would be different, This time is about when they started adding generation 3 horses. I got my starter and was so confused like- hello, this isn't my horse, etc. and then I took a break and the added global, etc, so I relate to this a lot. (One of my parents allow me to chat now and I own a very amazing club

I’m seeing this a year later but I used to play SSO religiously back in 2013/2014 and I recently had the urge to return. It’s crazy how everything’s changed

i remember my very first time on star stable, did not know how to get past the gates of moorland stable back in like 2013 or something with the old pink website. I haven't been on in like 2 years and when I did to visit, I simply cried. Lol I miss old star stable but the game looks so so so much better

started playing in 2012/2013 and probably stopped playing in 2016/2017, logged in for fun the other day and didn't realize where I was or where things were, miss the old version

I was gone from the game for nearly two whole years. When I logged in (it took like an hour because of all the loading it had to do) it was like I had logged into a new game I'd never played before.

Semi-old me being proud I knew how to find the bus sparkles bug and get to the mall without waiting. 😂 but the “you kids have it easy now-adays” SO TRUE

You can still get the oldest Friesians at the horse market (set 8) :D

I was a new player and when I saw old horses I was like: is this a bug or….what is this?!!

I think I started in early 2015 and stopped in 2017, started again in 2020 and now I sometimes do it wait a few month and then do it again

I was playing in 2017 as a free player, and dropped it after a few days. I started paying 2 months ago... I never had an appreciation for the older models until watching this. I may just save for a few now- I only have 3 horses rn (a new fresian and a fjord, and the starter)
