Hello folks! My old Soviet vise restored! I know you've been waiting for this restoration project for a long time, and now I've completed it. The process of restoration was very long and difficult, but it's done successfully.

These vises were given to me a long time ago, I have never disassembled them in detail. And especially not restored. I received a lot of comments and finally everything is ready. A lot of work has been done. I cleaned, washed, sanded, wiped, used welding, putty, grease and paint.

NO!!!!! He can not restore the workbench. The workbench is his Kung Fu power. If he restores it he will be lost in the world of restorations forever. LOL

Dude :-) restored or not,i still love your vice,it's one of those vices that is full of character,it has personality and it's almost like it speaks to you,i have an old Record 84 from the 1950's and it's the same,it's a good friend to me :-) top job Dude :-)

So happy to that old tool get some love. Great choice on paint. Looks like it might have come that color when it was new...now it needs a proper bench.
Here I was expecting something food related for that "TEST TIME HAS COME" moment for that vise. :P I wish I could get one myself, even if it needs restoration.
