I use cruset 9 in oil and Above spiritz And when it comes to temperature,when I try to increase it I tend to get pockets curls as you said as the result Honestly I'm a bit confused here I really want to get tight curls

Oh how I miss doing these styles!! That smell of pump it up, pink oil sheen, the marcels. Man those are great memories! I've have a couple pocket curls but that was like 20 yrs ago 😂. You do beautiful work!!!

Thank you for this video. I've been using Marcel's since I was 11 years old but I cannot curl like up to date so to speak. I curl like back in the day in the early 2000s. This video just gave me a little bit of confidence that I can bring my curling skills up to date.

Love the video. I love old school hairdressers. How do you regulate the temperature of the stove? I know usually you test out the iron on a white towel to see if it's too hot, but what about the stove?

Hey...The stove is like your stove at home, there is no regulation.. it literally is second nature for me to know when the curling iron is to hot...but yes before I knew how to do this I would have to test the iron on a paper towel...Thank you for watching 💜...

Hi, it's really something you learn, to start place a paper towel by the stove while the iron heats up, place the iron on the paper towel, if it turns brown, it's to hot

Those freeze curls last for days and at least a week and a half..lol..if you know how to sleep..lol

My Marcel curl iron doesn't curl hair like it should is it because of the product I'm using or the temperature of the stove

More than likely, its the temperature of your stove, however this takes practice when dealing with extreme heat..also what product are you using?

is there any chemical besides prits and relaxer?
