Old Rusty Bushcraft Hatchet Restoration
Hello folks! Today I want to show you my new restoration project. That rusty head axe I found at flea market and bought for USD $2. Axe head have nice weight and some blacksmiths stamp. Well, the first step was an electrolysis. I removed main layers of rust from axe used iron brushes to removed some patina and dark spots on it. Further I started to made axe handle. In this case I made decision to make some interesting design for my axe, not basic shape. For handle, I used some pieces of leather and wrapped it. Finally, I painted the axe handle via two components paint and for you made nice axe test. I hope you enjoy this restoration project.
Sincerely, Alex. Thanks for attention!
Good luck and health to everyone! With best wishes, Alex!

The patina on the axe head looks good. It was a good idea not to remove it. Good job.
Another restoration completed. You've done a fine job once again.👍👍
Good Restoration
That handle and the axe head look perfect together, love that you kept the pitting it shows you it's age! Great job!

I agree. That handle and style fit for that look. Great job.
I LOVE the fact that you don't try to make the axe heads shiny! They're beautiful cleaned up like you do. And that 2 component stain/paint is AMAZING!! Absolutely gorgeous!!
Don’t buy a table, do a table build video for us. You did a great job as always!
Job well done
Very nice job!
Great job, you’re a master 👍🍷
Hi mister screws beautiful restoration well done I like it thank

Actually, that could be a good video I've known partical and press boards, though awesome to have, aren't exactly the kind of surface you want for a workbench For a workbench, oak cedar, mahogany, maple or even pine could be a good fit for your bench They can take the abuse, and look saying "that all you got?"

Great job, love the way it looks, that stamp is interesting. Try putting a ball of clay or putty into it, smash it into the stamp, then carefully remove to see if you get a better idea of what it is or says.

I see the Restorer has discovered his own mark Nice...
Your new grinder that you use in this video looks interesting, did you make it yourself and if so did you produce a video on how you made it.
Amazing!!
Nice job. Enjoyed this video!
Great job
Good Job my old friend. Keep it up. Love your videos. Lets make a video of building a new work table to suit your projects and new belt grinder.

Hello Cory! Thank you, glad to see you =) Yes, it's good idea. At this moment I'm looking for material to create a table and other stuff from previous restoration projects.
Very good!!!!!! I was wondering why you were not using a Saw on the handle, now I know.
The corrosion effect also adds character to the axe, giving it a well aged look Sure, rust sucks But you have to admit that it can sometimes make an instrument look cooler...
Good job!
Good Restoration Done 👍 Thumbs up 👍 👏 👏

Great work sir! ❤📏 wait new videos.
Another excellent restoration. The ax and the handle are perfect together. A tip: if it is available to you, use sodium bicarbonate (washing soda) instead of salt in your electrolysis solution. You will get a more thorough rust removal. (What voltage and amperage are you using?) Also, your English is getting better in each video.

You are doing a really good job! May I ask you, where you're from (country)?
Think you should have left it unpainted on the handle but good restoration though.
This is Jhony Hendrik's
how many weight Hatchet Head after remove rust?
Restore the table and make it a little more stable for ur anvil
Cool thanks but will it kill zombies x
Why buy a new table when I imagine you could create a table/work bench BETTER than what is available.
