The one I remember was Super Mario Sunshine 64, basically 2D levels inspired by the SM64 levels but you get FLUDD to help compensate for Flash game physics. Ended up playing through the whole thing one afternoon during an IT work experience placement in 2011 because they ran out of things for us to do that day lol

the fact explaining what flash was is a necessary thing nowadays is just sad :cc also can relate in 2 different ways here: 1 as in i remember playing most of these games alongside a shit ton of other Mario flash games (and SMW romhacks, i must have played literal hundreds of both) and 2 as the realization that 2004 was 20 damn years ago is also hitting me (bc also turning 20 this year and i feel fucking ancient)

I think people just generally treated Toad like shit back then because of the Super Mario Bros. appearance ("Thank you, Mario! But our princess is in another castle!"). Or at least it _started_ that way, but then people just joined the bandwagon for the funny.

God there's a lot here which I remember actively playing (Dress Up, Mario Flash 1, Mario Combat 1 and 2 , Luigi's revenge, even Mario Lunar Lander. I also vaguely remember Star Catcher, Star Scramble and the NSMB one). I remember Mario stuff in that time had a very anti toad perspective. I think it was that they found him annoying Some ones I remember playing alongside these was Koopas Revenge 1 and 2 (which got a remake a few years back iirc), Supra Mayro Lande, Mario Movie Maker 4 (Where 1-3 and 6-9 are idk, 5 was a way worse one using brawl images, and 10 iirc was a tool for Mario 64 Machinima), Super Mario Crossover and a few weirder ones like Super Sized Mario Bros (To quote Official Nintendo Magazine on a different game "Exactly what it says in the tin, DO NOT OPEN THE TIN"), Mafia Mario, and some weird reskin of Ultimate Flash Sonic.

Being broke back then, I had a blast playing flash games, sad to see em be a thing of the past but atleast we got some good memories from em

Flashpoint is great but sadly they went woke and hid certian games from the infinity version. Against the spirit of archival.

Go to settings and enable extreme games. Also check which games get filtered out and disable the filter

@@skunt4078 They also started filtering games from even extreme at one point only findable in the ultimate releases now. I dont know the full extent but it could grow to be an issue eventually.
