    @@TheOddStranger Let's just say not everyone has the same goal in mind. But once you're past your prime, that you are not gonna gain any more money or status from it because you are in the nobody categorie in an already very very niche sport, maybe it's just time to assess your priorities. The thing is, PEDs are acceptable when you are still young because the possible outcomes overpass the negatives. But after some point, you just become a full blown drug addict that cannot accept to quit. Exact same thing as biggorexia from gym rats who cant accept that it is time to stop and literally kill themselves because their entire personnality revolves arround the fact that they are the "big dude walking arround". It's never worth dying for it. The only thing that separates street junkies from pro athletes is the benefits of being at the top of a well paid discipline, if you are a 50 year old pursuing strength, you're basically a steroid addict turning into a wamlking heart attack. When you go from a full cycle to pct, your hormones are so massively fucked that you automatically go into depression. These guys just cannot afford to quit even for their own good. Being big and pushing heavy weights is the only thing they know about life.

    @@bojanh66 obviously to still be at such level at his age he has exceptional genetic for PED usages. But as a paramedic (in France), i guaratee you all his vitals and blood work, without a shadow of a doubt, are absolutely atrocious. He is a 55 ish years old man injecting tens or even hundreds of times the natural testosterone production level in his system. That plus all the others coumpounds, espacially oral such as anadrol, and taxing his central nervous system way way beyong what's medicaly acceptable. You arent making it to your mostly, pre-determined older years based on your genetic, if you abuse drugs to such extent. I cant see how it is worth the risk for a guy like him who has virtually nothing to gain from keeping such size and stregth. Being big and strong isnt a marker of good health, it's quite the opposite actually. I dont know anything about him or his personnal life but dying early isnt something anyone should be looking for when you have family and friends around you.

    You say an old man is stronger than Larry wheels and then show a bench press of a guy who is 45 years old. 45 isn’t old for a strength athlete, especially one who is on steroids to keep their test levels up. You lose some athleticism by that age but many guys peak strength wise especially On the bench press after 40.

    Even tho deadlift is very important, it doesn't have to be all about it. Not everyone spoecialize for it, not everyone care aboiut it, not everyone ha the perfect biomechanics for it. Just because some guy has the best deadlift doesn't mean he's overall stronger than a guy who beats him in virtually every other lift. There was a massive rise in deadlift rise when strongmen started to go for it, namig Jerry, Eddie, and Benny after entering equipped deadlift. But at the end of the day, if that's the only thing you're good at, it doesn't automatically makes you the strongest guy out there.

    Larry is stronger and you can tell he is only on TRT if you compare his past lifts to now. The old guy is impressive yes but hes always geared the whole time to the gills and not only on trt as Larry is. Larry had a 600 lbs incline when he was geared and pressed as much as 675 snd even came close to hit 705 at 282 lbs back 3 years ago. So what are you talking about that old guy is stronger than Larry??

  • @StrengthUniverse

    @StrengthUniverse

    Жыл бұрын

    Larry's 675lbs was an equipped lift, as was the 705 which are simply incomparable. I have compared raw competition lifts only (there was no video of Waynes best ever hence the use of a video of a gym lift). He Benched more then TRT Larry, despite Larry being 25 years younger and only off cycle for about 5 months, lets not forget he was still on supraphysiological levels of test. Even taking Larrys best ever bench of 292,5kg at 25 years old and on loads of juice there was still only 5kg between them. I thought that was damn impressive especially considering Wayne s age and the fact he didn't start competing until he was 43 years old
