I love listening to calm music like Bach or Mozart. Sit in my room which is quiet and peaceful, I have wind chimes right out my window plus a lot of birds that come around. Or I love to sit in my garden and pray 🙏

Yes Monica! Thanks to the incompetence and/or dereliction of duty of Dumbledore, it often fell on Hermione's shoulders in particular to find the answers to matters of grave urgency (such as the form of the monster in the Chamber of Secrets) between the pages of ancient books located in the Restriction Section of the Hogwarts library. Meanwhile, Dumbledore was probably busy in his pensieve furiously masturbating over memories of Grindelwald.

Legend has it that the single page of that book on the floor is still turning.

This is my favourite library ambience. I use it to fall asleep. Sometimes rain in similar videos is too overpowering and harsh for my liking, but this is perfect. I wish this would be 10 hours long.

It's raining here today, yet another dark, cold, and dreary day. Soon it will turn to snow again. Does this sun still exist? For now, I've decided it doesn't matter, because this room, which I have visited countless times before, makes it all better. The crackling candle flames, the *perfect* rain sound, the shifting, footsteps, writing, thick pages turning... it's all exactly right as I work and sip my tea. I know you created this two years ago, but it's still one of my faves. Thank you. xo

I can't think of a better way to end a stressful study day. The soothing rain melodies transport me to my world and help me experience a peaceful sleep

You can search far and wide, and everyone will tell you about my love and fascination of the, "orange glow!" I have talked about this for years of how much I love it! The orange glow indicates warmth, love, coziness, and welcoming from the chilly, damp weather! Your videos contain it all, and that is why I am so drawn to them. But also the sitting. I LOVE the rain as well. Chilly, gloomy, rainy. Yet, still have that, "orange glow." They also remind me of a chilly, gloomy, wet Wisconsin (where I'm originally from). I could go on and on with the various images and adjectives in my head, but you must feel the same to make these marvelous videos!!!

There is such a special feel, when I am driving in the rain, is to see the porch lights on at people's homes. It's gloomy, rainy, and there is just something about seeing a porch light on. I don't know how else to word it, and maybe it's just me.

I struggle with insomnia a lot and I’ve done a lot of sleep therapy, meditation and even medication on and off. Last week I was having a particularly bad bout and was struggling for days on end. I put on this video not expecting much but the white noise actually let me sleep properly and I woke up feeling refreshed for the first time in ages. And I realise it’s an incredibly minor thing from the outside but it made such a difference to my week so I wanted to say thank you.

*The haunting melodies of sad, sentimental music have a way of piercing through the heart, weaving a tapestry of emotions that resonate with the complexities of the human experience*

As a bookworm, needless to say I would gladly spend the rest of my days in such a paradise. With an atmosphere so full of mystery, warm intimacy, cozyness and tranquility, how not to succumb to the charm of such a place. If I had to get an idea of heaven, it would look a lot like this one. It would be fantastic if you could create an atmosphere inspired by the Aladdin movie! The night is starry✨ Princess Jasmine is relaxing in her four-poster bed in her silk sheets and the warm wind makes the linen curtains move like the fairest dancers of the Middle East. Jasmine hears from her bedroom the magic and enchanted sounds of the villagers and children who chat and play wonderful oriental melodies. His faithful pet tiger Raja is lying on the floor and sometimes turns around making sweet sleepy groans. Finally, the princess sleeps in sweet bliss, cradled by the enveloping silence of the palace which is more caressing than a lullaby. This is just an idea that came to me by digging into the bowels of my mind lol✨

Reading Harry Potter is good medicine for me. Now more than ever, especially since I have...er...that atrocious scummy virus. *😷🤧cough, sniff😷🤧* The Potterverse and Autumn Cozy are good company during quarantine.

I wrote my graduation monograph hearing it over and over and over again for a month, as I couldn't go to the college library because of the pandemic.

This is great but one thing missing that you can't add. That's the smell of a library filled with old books 😃

The local county library is my home away from home. If I was well, I'd go there tomorrow. I usually go to the library twice a week. I wish I didn't have COVID.

It would be funny if you hear someone drop a book and a voice say sorry And later a Librarian saying "Shhhh" haha

That book turning a page by itself is slightly unnerving.

This touches our oldest and most basic desire for warmth, peace and protection from the cold and storm just outside these walls. Perfect in time and place.

it is amazing that there are othere people obssessed like me in this world that create stuff like that

try this out with 'this playlist make you feel like a 19th century villian' or 'studying alone at the library at midnight(dark academia)' videos on youtube...perfection. but the volume is important ,make sure you can hear the rain you're welcome:)

To me this isn't just an old Library. It looks like a large old home from a bygone era . It has a great relaxing atmosphere and the kind of subdued lighting I like very much . I listen to many ambience videos, but almost always eventually come back to this one. The comfort in it is amazing.

Yes! I always think of that when I bust open a big reference book.

This site will be so much fun as the weather cools and nights become longer. I will be putting on a tea kettle for hot teas or chocolate wrapping up my home knitted blanket. My home will be baking treats and savory eats on a tray. Now I must wait for our fall season. Thank you for the work and enjoyment.
