I've been really upset over current events today and I was looking for some music to help me calm down so I could go to sleep and this really helped a lot. It doesn't make the things going on in the world any less horrific or important, but it's helping me handle things better. Thank you.

Right? I love it so much! When I was a kid I had a room with a skylight and the rain sounded just like this falling on it.

This rain sound effect is unmatched. I've been looking for a video that duplicates what I hear IRL instead of the more common white noise that counts as "rain" in most videos and I'm SO GLAD to have finally found it! I'm definitely saving this.

I live near-ish to a former estate, now a public garden...and they have a conservatory. They don't have seating like this, it would quickly mildew, lol. But many benches where a book and an hour or two would be a real luxury amongst the gorgeous plants, glass, the murmur of guests just beyon the blooming fuscias and green palm trees...

I would love to lounge on that chaise alll day reading a good high fantasy novel 🧡

This makes me miss our old house, which had skylights in several rooms. I used to love sitting or lying on the floor when it rained and listening to the sound. The new house is better for old knees, but it is so quiet I often don't realize it has rained until I look outside and see the yard is wet. If I had an unlimited budget, I'd probably build much the same.
