Old Harrow Lane byway on my 1955 classic bike

Ойын-сауық

It's been over 10 years since I last rode this lane and it was a bit of a mess. It's had a bit of work done on it since, but is still very loose under the leaves with deep water ruts filled with big chunks of flint. I enjoyed the ride back more than the first pass, but spent a lot of the ride with both wheels going sideways. Maybe a lane for a more modern bike and a rider with a bit more skillset, but still fun and I'll take a different bike there for the next few rides to get a better feel for it. The fallen tree that was reported to the Councils PROW team a couple of weeks ago has been cleared.

Love the ULEZ comment👍😀 That house was very nice at the beginning. Good to see the tractor going well. It sounds like it would chug up a cliff👍I am impressed you actually use it and the places you take it. Fair play😎

Cheers. Yes the old dinosaurs still getting better after every mile. I've put 350 miles on the new engine so far so I'll be able to open it up soon and see if the scrambles engine is an improvement on the old 550 long stroke chugger.

Yes we have dozens that can all be linked up for the best part of an entire day riding. This one is listed as a UCR {unclassified Country Road) There are several others within less than a minute away.

@@thra5herxb12s great stuff. I live about 10 minutes away from Bombers Lane. It's so hard to find good resources about green lanes / UCR / BOATS. Often the status of roads is not that clear.
