Old Country Preacher - The Life & Times of Billy Kelly

The Life & Times of Billy Kelly tells about his life, and the people who have been involved. He relates how he went to a youth meeting where he was saved, how he met Dot, his lovely wife, and his first revival meeting. The Late Dr. Harold Sightler, Bro Clyde Carter and Dr. Tom Hayes share some insights about Bro. Billy and the impact he had on their lives. Bro. Billy also has some good advice for young preachers.

I fed that man many a meal to keep him going preaching the gospel. He was such a powerhouse for God. Led many to the Lord in the meetings we had at our church. God Bless his memory.

My dad Dwynell Dill played piano on his first album I Will Not Be A Stranger. He use to be over the Greer Baptist Camp Meeting and I lived down the street from it. He would come by my house usually about a week or two before the camp meeting started and I’d go tune the piano for him.

See what the Holy Ghost power can do? The power to change you when nothing else can. The power to give you a new heart. The power to touch other's lives. Brothers, I'm glad I'm saved today because God changed this old boy back in May of 1968 under an old apple tree when I was only six years old. I got the real thing and He never once left me ! I'm 57 years old now and in the highways and hedges looking for lost souls as an evangelist. I'm asking for the old paths to walk in and am glad to be a Christian. There's nothing like a Holy Ghost filled Christian Life. Thank you Jesus!!! " Not of good that I have done, nothing but the blood of Jesus." Thank you for this video.

God. Blessed me this Saturday morning at sunrise, ive never seen or heard of this Great Man with that pure heart for Jesus! I cant explain how much i needed to see this at this difficult time! God amazes me all the time, we cant fathom his Super Natural ways, once again on this cold cold morning in the woods of Northeast Louisiana, He led me to click on an Man of God, a big ole red head Southern Man, exactly like me and many in my family, big tall and red on the head! Men with hearts like His are all very similar, I know cause my Papaws possess what this man has inside! I love him and never heard of him before 30 minutes ago! When he was telling about the night He was saved, I was crying right along with Him! Id love to know if This Man is still on earth or Has God already took Him, id love to know if anybody sees this that knows. If so, and He is already gone on, tell His family that while He gets rested up in the grave so he will be high stepping very soon when that eastern sky opens up, tell them that even resting quietly He spoke to me and blessed me greatly with his heart of God! Ive been crying right with Him! God Bless Him and ill see Him over Jordan! Praise the name of Jesus!

Praise God!! Ive been coaching Dixie Youth Baseball for 12 years all together and because of my Grandfathers i spoke of i used my position to show young boys a big man bow and humble myself to God! I tell every team every year at every game, We are learning baseball fundamentals 50% of our time and the other 50% we gonna learn to be Real Men with the qualities if old! God Fearing Men, which no kid these days know anything about that, well, a lot around here do now!! But the one thing that is a main stay, before we play we all get at the base closest our dugout, i say the same thing each game, ok fellas, take a knee, take your hats off and touch somebody, bow your heads! We pray for safety for all and give thanks for being so blessed! And a unanimous resounding AMEN!! Then i ask, What is the worst four letter word in the world?? The all yell together, CAN'T!! Why?? They say, cause with Jesus and I Can coming out of mouth, I can!!

Here is a historic fact: The name Jesus has only existed since the 17th century. Before, we find in the 1611 English Version of the Bible (KJV), it was Iesus, with an I not a J. Before Iesus, a Latin name, which came from the Greek name Iesous. Iesous is a transliteration of the Aramaic name Yeshua, a common name among the Jews at the time of the Savior. In other words, it was like the name Michael, many people had this name. None of the above names are the Savior’s true name. The Savior’s name is revealed from Heaven, and this name, YAHSHUA, is not to be subjected to linguistic evolution. Here is the problem: According to the New Testament, there is only one name, and every language, tongue, is to know it! His name is YAHSHUA, however, the Jews called Him Yeshua, however, the revealed name of the Savior is YAHSHUA, “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name (YAH) which is above every name, that at the name of YAHSHUA every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that YAHSHUA the Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:9-11). Here is a false premise: “I speak English, so I say, ‘Jesus.’ Here is a false statement: “It is about the Person and not the name.” Here is a false sentiment: “God knows what I mean, the name is not important.” Here is the essence of the Gospel: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God (John 3:16-18). A noted scholar has declared that the name YAHSHUA is a philological impossibility! What is Philology: “The branch of knowledge that deals with the structure, historical development, and relationships of a language or languages.” Therefore, according to Philology, the name “Jesus” is a philological impossibility! The historical development is clear, the name “Jesus” did not exist until some time after the 17th century. Scholars identify Yeshua as the most likely name of the Savior. The Name of YAHSHUA Forbidden “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with YAHSHUA. And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it. But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves, saying, ‘What shall we do to these men? For, indeed, that a notable miracle has been done through them is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it. But so that it spreads no further among the people, let us severely threaten them, that from now on they speak to no man in this name.’ So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of YAHSHUA. But Peter and John answered and said to them, ‘Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.’ So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way of punishing them, because of the people, since they all glorified God for what had been done. For the man was over forty years old on whom this miracle of healing had been performed” (Acts 4:13-22). With the emergence of the Greek language taking over the Hebrew/Aramaic language, they ignorantly held to the name Yeshua, and transliterated it to Iesous. We must hold to the revealed name of YAHSHUA because, according to the Gospel, to reject the revealed name is to stand condemned (John 3:18). {www.nazareanministryofyahshua.com} Halleluyah, Praise YAH, Praise YAHSHUA!
