"Old Coon Dog"/"Covid 19 Blues" - Mountain Banjo Repair
Today I got to fix up an old commission banjo from 2 yrs ago. The owner had twisted a tuner a little too far and broke on accident. The fifth string nut also broke off and finally the strings needed a new tail piece to eliminate string slippage from the bridge. All have been repaired and I did a new top coat of tung oil on the whole banjo. This has a nice raw organic sound with no tone ring insert and its honestly just as powerful without it. #bluegrass #banjo #folk #woodworking #carpenter
