Bellissimi questi trattori. Nel 1997 la loro sede operativa era la bassa bolognese, compresa fra i comuni di Budrio Molinella Medicina in particolare nella zona di Portonovo, S.Antonio, Fiorentina ecc...dove i terreni sono davvero tenaci. Con l'avvento però dei nuovi grossi trattori cingolati in gomma, vedi CASE Quadtrac e John Deere RX il loro utilizzo è di molto diminuito. Rimangono comunque un bellissimo ricordo! Complimenti per il filmato stupendo!

Purtroppo infatti non se ne vedono tanti di Cingoli in ferro in giro... però dicono che sul letame se non hai questi, con quelli nuovi fai molta fatica

Da quel che dicono i fratelli Bortolin che sono dalle mie parti e posseggono diversi CASE Quadtrac dicono che e' l'unico trattore che riesce ad arare su reflui zootecnici, poi personalmente non posso testimoniare.

Che mostro, questo non è un trattore è un carro armato ha ha ha 😂🤣, anni fa ho avuto. occasione di vederne uno nella mia zona equipaggiato di lama apripista e ripper posteriore al lavoro nella preparazione di un terreno per l'impianto di un vigneto, gli sono passato accanto con un cingolato FIAT 505C, sembravano un bue e un topolino 😂😂🤣🤣. Complimenti per i tuoi video sempre molto belli 🔝👍💪👏👏

Hi Davide, I'm a member of the ACMOC Caterpillar club and we're all fascinated by this video. That's a lot of tractor for not much plow/plough so we were wondering what type of soil you have, how deep you're plowing, and what crop will be planted. That field looks like it is cropped every year so I would have thought that it would plow easily but since you're using a D8 to pull 3 furrows/bottoms, evidently not! : )

Widen the tracks and rip the plough bottom, and dear god put some weight on the front and use the whole track length to pull with, not the last 3 idlers watch what is happening ... @@tomnapier681

Never seen a D8 stand on it's heels like that. That plow must really be a load. Also never seen a three point hitch on a Cat before. Looks like he has enough power to pull it.

I have had a couple of D8 H 22As and they both had the large air-cleaner like this one and were 235hp not 270. The 270hp (cv) has a smaller air-cleaner does it not? Excellent vid though.

235 HP had vertical air cleaner in 22a and 36a and 46a and the angled air cleaner in the 270hp I've owned and operated all of them the only one I'm not sure on is the torque converter drive model and the much debated model with the diesel convertor they made.to save arguments I still have parts and operator manuals for them and serial no listings for the change of HP

@@johnfearnley7712 yes the other more common option was same shape but instead of and oil bowl it was a single element that worked opposite way to normal air filter and a cyclone type element under it and a bowl

Much later. Someone replied 70’s and that seems right for the turbo. They were into that early, I guess to compete with the big two stroke diesels? I can’t see if it the 3406 engine, which was massively popular and still is decades later :o)

@@teamidris The D8H was turbocharged from the beginning of that series which ran late '50s to the early '70s, being replaced by the D8K which added a jacket water intercooler. Both tractors use the D342 engine but with different and increasing ratings during the series' production. The next series, the D8L used a 3408 engine and I think the D8N used the 3406. In the States, this video's tractor is a 36A direct drive, and its counterpart in powershift is the 46A.

Towards the end of the video the tractor engine bogged down as he ploughed through a damper patch of soil, so three furrows must be enough in that type of dirt.

Quello che dico io è soltanto una montagna di trattore per soli 3 vomeri, poi se il 22 a è stato portato a 270 cavalli, in 9 ore si ciuccia 3 fusti di gasolio, quindi non è conveniente per nulla giocare con il d8 e tre vomeri soli.

Concordo. Buona macchina ma a tutto c'è un limite. Se guardiamo benissimo fa 35 cm e non oltre visto che l'aratro è un po troppo di punta..poi i cingoli sono fatti per tirare a timone e spingere di lama e non con dei sollevatori che caricano solo peso sui riduttori..sono 30 anni che aro e qualche cosa ho imparato....con la lama questa macchina sposta la montagna!

@@caterpillar3306 ciao fede, io ho avuto per parecchi anni il d8 14a grande macchina non esageratamente veloce ma indistruttibile, e oltretutto molto semplice, lo tenevamo per fare gli scassi con un aratro a bandiera 11 pai sogema, e ti dirò di soddisfazioni me ne ha date tante soprattutto sul consumo di carburante, paragonabile benissimo ad un 1355 fiat, motore 6 cilindri indiretto con alzavalvole, 198 cavalli a 1100 giri, macchina straindovinata, quando aravamo per terzi in qualche azienda enorme, gli attaccavamo un 5 tqr a quatrivomero della nardi, del peso di 32 ql, e vuoi sapere in 10 ore quanto consumava?240 litri e non si è mai spento per aver terminato il gasolio. Quando lo ho venduto sono stato male 1 settimana. Ti premetto che il motore era aspirato non turbo con quasi 21000 centimetri cubi di cilindrata, ciao

@@sandroconti6542 Scusate sono piombo con i consumi di queste macchine, la mia domanda è con il Cat D8 di Sandro 240 litri in 10 ore se prendiamo uno di questi super gommati da 250 Hp circa quanti litri di gasolio può consumare in 10 ore? Sicuramente il Cat D8 ormai è da pensione nulla da dire, però vedo molti gommati con potenze da 300/400 Hp con 3 miseri vomeri non molto differenti da quelli che tira il Cat D8.

@@eliusbasili8890 qui entrano in gioco il confort, la tenacia del terreno, e l ergonomicità della macchina. Il cat che ho menzionato io è una macchina del 1956, già tutta a bagno di olio(frizioni di sterzo e frizione centrale), 198 cavalli per 208 ql di peso senza lama, la guida era tutta sopra il cingolo sinistro e per regolarti con il fondo del aratro a destra non era facile, poi levato le lavorazioni principali (aratura, rippatura) non lo sfruttavi più con nulla. Le macchine che dici tu, i gommatoni da 250 a 500 cavalli , li sfrutti in tutti i fronti, quando sei riuscito ad attrezzarli ci fai dalle lavorazioni principali alle semine, con un confort non paragonabile al vecchio d8. Io credo che se un terzista non metta più di 3 vomeri al suo aratro, è perchè la tenacia del terreno sia da non sottovalutare, cioè ci sono anni in cui la terra si presta bene alle lavorazioni principali , e anni che non si riesce a far entrare l attrezzo nel terreno, e se entra il gommatone slitta e non riesce a lavorare, almeno nella mia zona funziona cosi, tarquinia provincia di viterbo
