This is a routine medical treatment mission carried out by the wildlife officials. Officers routinely visit to monitor and treat elephants using tranquilizer guns. This is not a rescue mission or any sort, but these videos show the daily struggles and lives of those who keep our declining elephant population in the world safe.

I have 2 comments regarding this and other if your video: 1) Thank you very much for caring for these elephants. Without you many would not fare well. 2) As I have said before, and as at least 2 others in this list of comments have asked, could you please start with the identified problem (not 1/2 the video when nothing happens) and then include your treatment, AND, video coverage of the outcome (the elephants response to treatment). It is frustrating watching video that is mostly preamble with nothing happening. And that frustration is made worse when, at the end of the video you’ve not shown, or even attempted to explain, the most important part - how the elephant did after he’d been tended to by yourselves. Again, thank you for caring for these amazing beasts.

I think in general what people expect is three things 1)The problem elephant 🐘 had 2)How you guys helped 3) how’s the elephant now or after that treatment This is what people expect , so show them if you do not have records at least from now onwards from the KZread or social media money take some good cameras and lots of battery 🔋 and records these It’s very educational and we all like to see that ... no the half videos where we have to Guess what happened next .. th

If you read the article you will see that the medical treatment was given through the darts so as not to cause the aged animal to much stress.
