Old Abandoned Buildings That Were Part Of A Forgotten Railroad
Ойын-сауық
While spending the day in Coplay, Pa, myself and RJ explored a different section of the Ironton Rail Trail. In this area, we found lots of structures and signs of the forgotten railroad. These abandoned buildings played an important part back in the day and now they are left behind to be checked out my curious onlookers and explorers like myself. So come along with me as we explore some of these abandoned buildings along the Ironton Rail trail. Enjoy

Please Note: Exploring Abandoned locations can be dangerous. I don't condone or encourage anyone to enter an Abandoned structure. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal and when possible, i seek out permission. I simply go to document its history before it's gone and leave things the way I find them. I assume all the risks & responsibility in doing so. Please don't attempt to do this on your own.

Hi Jay, I love the fact that the old railroad car has been left alongside the trail, that big building you went into still had quite a lot remaining. Although the roof on that building had hundreds of bullet holes with the suns rays shining through them it made for a really cool photo. A cool effect to do is when the sun shines through say a window, door etc just get a handful of dust or take some flour and throw it at the beams of sunshine as it makes the rays accentuated where they really stand out more. A great place to go visit and it's all there just near the trail, I loved that old fire house and can easily imagine the horse and carriage getting ready to tend a fire, awesome. Thank you for taking us along, much love. xx💖
Another great video! These rail structures are amazingly preserved
I loved the intro and enjoyed traveling the rail trail with you . That rail car was neat . I am allergic to bees also - you need to carry an EpiPen . I like those side shots showing what it used to look like . I enjoyed this video - it was as interesting as I knew it would be - thanks for sharing 😁👍💕
I absolutely love that old firehouse! How awesome it would be to go back in time and see it when they first finished it. Beautiful craftsmanship in that old building. Love the arches where the fire trucks would go in and out. I wonder how long it was in service. Thank you for another awesome and educational video, take care, stay safe always, much love to you, Jill and Lili, God Bless.

Another Epic video Jay! Loved that rail car & fire station. 1891 Wow!! Hope you are ok from the bees, oh my goodness. One thing I admire about you is the way you keep moving forward to create. Gets harder to film abandoned, world shuts down, etc. You keep finding inventive ways to entertain & hold our interests. That is talent Mister & I for one really appreciate all you have brought to my life. You & family have made many gray days bright. 🥰💙

Another good video two thumbs up ...
I Set my reminder on this looks interesting 🧐
Love this. The fire station would of been cool to seen as it was back then! I am huge on fire stations and history Great video 💜💜
Great video. Glad you found a way in to the big building. At roughly 13:02, those metal protrusions look like cows udders LOL. The pump in the smaller building, we have seen the same type of thing used for boiler feed pumps, but could just be a pump to provide water at a specified pressure. Regarding the firehouse, we have houses that look like that in Australia, those archways were especially popular in houses from the 80's era here. We saw allot like it, some just had them over the garage doors,, but some houses had the archways right across the front and throughout the main living areas of the house. They a little unique and stand out when you see them.
Hey this was cool !! And the lighting was just fine !! Lots of cool stuff !! Preppie kids with Socks and sandals wow !! That old stone fire house was cool !! I love history so much to learn from our past !! Great video really enjoyed it lots of cool stuff !

Oh no are you ok Jason after that bee attacked you as i know the bees in the USA are so much different to ours in the UK .. they are nasty blighters .. Hope you are ok sweety .. My sister is allergic to bees too and anything to do with a bee .. shes deathly allergic to the honey. Yes honey it is not a recognised allergen but she has to be careful with certain foods and caranouba wax too. and yes i'm back i had some trouble with my ulcerated leg but i'm back again ha ha fighting strong i'm loving your explores what i like the best on your channel .. thank you for sharing them with us you visit some beautiful places and i wished i could hike again but my legs wont let me anymore it has to be a wheelchair now but im better off than a lot of people i can be blessed by that ... The fire hose was so cute and its still standing which is great im loving the American history and we love going to Florida Disney World as it has some history to it because the rides there like the railroad train and the rest of the rides in Adventure land and i particularly love the hall of presidents i just love it all .. American history is so interesting and i try to imagine that i was there. I love Dickensian times too and Victorian. x

A forgotten railroad? Hmmm time to go on an adventure! Omg the bee! 😂
I have always had an interest in locomotives despite an accident in grammar school. A school bus I rode back and forth to school pulled in front of a slow moving engine . Quite a few hurt no deaths. That locomotive slapped that bus aside like a toy. I have taken trains over and over and always enjoyed the ride.

That likely was a concrete plant, the Ironton rr originally was built to being iron ore mined in the region along w limestone to blast furnaces along the river. After the turn of the 20th century it hauled portland cement to concrete plants. It lasted until the mid 70s, but really declined after the second world war.
You seriously need to carry an Epi-Pen Bro! I carry one with me at all times. You don't need an attack by a swarm of pissed off bees!
At 3:30, I thought a bike hit you!
Was just there yesterday and did a video. but didn't go into the building.
Hope you carry an epi pen with you in case you get stung!
💖💖💖💖
I had to add a quick comment as I was watching this. This will be wonderful if they could turn this old Firehouse structure into a usable shelter house! exhaust forward today the word Egypt keeps popping up in different things that I'm looking at? Coincidence or not is something going to happen in Egypt? I am going to try and watch more videos if I can m Summer's here and it's hard to get much time in.
Be careful JP. Dont need you going into anifilactic shock. That WOULD NOT be a good thing. Love the video. Thank you.
With the doors it would appear that this is an old freight house or lineside industry that was serviced by the RR
