Nic Anderson is OU's Megatron

The defense looked excellent overall. The offense looks great overall. Two concerns are the run game and the offensive line being in sync; both need to improve. Also, the Jackson Arnold wildcat seems odd at best and should be mixed with other options, like a bigger tight end or speedy running back. Otherwise, I think people are overlooking and underestimating the Sooners. OU is well on its way to becoming a championship-caliber team.

Well judging by how the rest of the Big12 has played so far… I think our competition is a little bit worse than last season lol

I have seen a lot of teams dominating today. Oklahoma is another team that I seen dominated the whole game as their defense really dominated against Tulsa. Oklahoma won 66-17!!! Go Sooners!!!

Great game. But our RB's haven't been able to make big runs like they should, which will be bad against better competition. Same goes for Gabriel's slow or underthrown deep passes against better DB's. And our secondary will be more concerning against better WR and QB's. Lots of great things in the game, but still yet plenty to improve upon.

They just need to be good enough to gain first downs. An explosive run game is a bonus, but all you gotta do is keep pushing that ball forward, 3 to 10 yards at a time. The passing game looks like it might be their strong suit this year, despite the O-line needing some work.

That was a bad throw by Dillon and should have been intercepted, but with the defense yanking the WR off his feet would have voided that.

I am glad, Oklahoma scored all those 66 points, thanks to Tulsa's numerous turnovers = TDs...because, the Sooners Secondary looked awful at times in coverage and allowing a wide open Tulsa receivers to score easily. Next week, OU travels to Cincinnati....the OU Secondary can't be doing that blown coverage vs. the Bearcats or OU won't win at Cincinnati. 🤔😑

Was September 16 "The Battle of Oklahoma" between Oklahoma and Tulsa?

Even ESPN couldn't make the Sooners look bad. "OU beginning to pull away", when it was already 35-17.

Tulsa exposed several lapses in the OU defense both in the running game and pass coverage. Reggie Pearson is still looking for his jock strap from the second TU td.

@@terrydfowler I saw multiple mistakes on the part of Ou’s defense. The offense played extremely well most of the time. But the defense has some mental errors including stupid penalties to get right. 🤣🤣🤣

The pass coverage was great most of the game. Did you not see the several interceptions? And the red zone defense was pretty solid minus those two TU TDs. Plus, OU was already 3 or 4 scores ahead in the 2nd quarter... their defense probably put on the brakes a little bit. They weren't under loads of pressure nor was Tulsa actually threatening them at any point in the game, so they weren't fully focused on getting those stops.

OUr wide receivers are looking better and better and Gabriel is throwing bullets. He looks more confident this year

This is what i was waiting for now Oklahoma is looking like the Boomer Sooners from 2003 when they were dominating everyone no matter the team. Love to see it😊

The top two QB’s for TU have been battling injuries. Surprised they got to play Cardell Williams. Looking better than Texas so far. So my feeling about it is good. Yall are way in over your heads about beating Alabama, Bama doesn't have sh*t this year, they struggled hard against South Florida. 😂 Texas defense looks good, but that O-line is trash, and I bet Ewers takes at least 3 sacks. Better hope your D holds and better hope your little screen passes result in scoring enough.

After seeing Texas beat Bama the way they did, I was pretty concerned. But after seeing Bama and Texas struggle hard with USF and Wyoming, I think Texas fans need to cool their jets a little.

It should be a good game this year. I have concerns for my Longhorns so far which is we are too inconsistent. Wyoming is a quality team and as much as OU fans want to downgrade Alabama like they're somehow on Tulsa, SMU & Arkansas State level, with Milroe they are dangerous. My concern with OU is of course they haven't played anyone so far but they have looked sharp against Arkansas State & Tulsa. The real games for Texas & OU begin now though in conference even though the Big 12 looks weak. Should be Texas vs OU in the Big 12 championship game to give a big middle finger to the Big 12 commissioner.

The Sooners had a top 10 recruiting class in the nation the last three years and recruited some good defensive players. There’s a lot of talent on Defense. All they gotta do is improve some things and they are solid.

Yeah bud it’s nothing new. All college teams play cupcakes in the beginning of the season. SMU is a pretty good team and has always had a top 15 offense and OU held them to one touchdown. I’d say OU is pretty solid this year. We may not win every game but it won’t be like last year.
