JMU did great. But shouldn't have left Alexander in to pitch yet again. She's thrown way too many and Sooners have seen her a ton last few days. I feel like if they changed pitchers earlier might have had a chance. But boomer sooner baby.. thems my girls

JMU earned my respect as a Sooner fan! That pitcher is a badass too!

Notice that Alo didn't fist-pump or show much emotion while trotting out that last homer? I think that, with the game in hand, she chose to show a tough, valiant JMU squad a measure of respect. Odicci and the Lady Dukes earned it at the WCWS.

@@barneybussey1150 you must be a "new" softball "fan" .. educate yourself..and learn to enjoy the effort of others..there really isn't a conspiracy in college softball..to gain competitive advantage..it's just life..and circumstance..your team isn't going to win all the time..and the sooners know all about that.. we fans enjoy the journey ..the personal stories..and the dedication of all those who provide the entertainment..try and do that! It's what it's all about.🥎💥 enjoy the games!

@@stoopstified7376 Ha. Funny. I've been a fan longer than you've been alive. I was coaching softball for HS girls before you were born. I never said there was a conspiracy; I'm just saying it's a very unfair arrangement, whatever the origins. You're here saying to tip your hat to the awesome Sooners. Well, let's give other fans more of a chance to tip their hats to their teams by giving them equal opportunities to win. Right now, OU can say to recruits. "We play a third of our games right over there in Hall of Fame Stadium. We don't have to travel to anybody's regional. The Big 12 tournament is held right here. We never travel far to play a game. OKC is the mecca of Olympics softball." So, yes, OU will get some top recruits based on that, alone. Then it becomes a cycle. Also, OU saves hundreds of thousands of dollars by NOT having to fly their team to the WCWS and pay for days of hotel bills and meals. Then there are the 12,500 fans they can bring to the series, compared to maybe 500 for the other team. It's a great gig for OU, but it's grossly unfair to the other schools. So yeah, the journey, the personal stories are great, but they are a lot more fun if you win championships. Let's level the playing field. Rotate the WCWS sites.
