I have followed billy though his musical career i've ALWAYS loved his music it has always touched my heart most of his songs i cant listen to without crying. I know he left for awhile because his voice changed which is normal but i REALLY hope he makes a come back he has so much talent and it would be such tragic loss for everyone if he didn't make his come back. Praying for you Billy that you WILL someday make it back to Nashville.. Best Regards ..

I'm from the Philippines and this song Oklahoma is my favorite song of Billy Gilman...He still have a beautiful voice but how i wish he didn't grw up!...

"Oklahoma" never fails to make me shed a tear, since it first was released about 2000. Absolutely beautiful, and Billy still sings wonderfully. Glad to see he has reappeared. Hope he wins on The Voice.

Listening to this song brought me to tears. I lost my daddy 66 years ago when I was only 7, I'm now 73. I can see Billy going all the way on The Voice, he's got my vote, how about yours? Let's put him where he belongs with his wonderful voice!!!

I remember he came to the turning stone casino my daughter loved him,they were both about 12. I went in the back of where the buses came and it was just her and I and she brought him flowers, they met he hugged her and took her on the bus because his mom said the cold air wasn't good for his voice,they exchanged emails and he was just so down to earth I loved him then and till this day listen to his music.when my daughter told me he was on the voice I jumped up and down and screamed they thought I was having a medical problem lol,He has such a gift I was so mad he didn't take first place but I think its because he was so great and we will see a lot of him and the people wanted to give a chance to another who may not have the opportunities billy has.I still have the photos we took of the 2of them on the bus and feel honored and blesses to meet and hear such a gifted singer. Don't give up you are here on earth for greater things ,your videos spoke volumes to reality,ty for just staying true to yourself god bless you and for the wonderful memory of that night for my daughter and I.

he's always sounded very good!! the only difference is it's a little deeper than it was when he was TWELVE! The ONLY country music artist that's has a number one record at TWELVE!!!

Billy I tried to find your video on coming out cause I wanted to leave a comment, no matter if you read it or not. You've grown a great deal from that little Baptist Church on main street. I remember it all too well and I can't believe how far you flew. You have a great talent and it took great courage to do what you did. Coming out is hard enough but the status you possess it must be even harder. The Industry and "genre" I'm certain haven't been the most accepting. Being a gay man myself and coming out at a very young age it wasn't easy. I congratulate you and your partner and hope it works out.

Joshua Naylor so beautifully said. There are so many people out there, including myself (though my goal was a publishing deal), who never went to Nashville to pursue their dreams. I went at 21, got an apartment and a job in the two short days I was there, but backed out at the last minute out of fear. 17 years later I don’t regret that decision, and am glad I chose the path of being my true self. But, I’d be lying if I don’t often wonder “what if?”. It’s so great to see artists like this with their bravery and strength. Billy will always shine, in my opinion, simply because he was true to himself and still reaches for the stars.

One of my favorites also! I hope all this hoopla helps his career!

His voice and runs remind me of Barry Manilow. Uncanny! His voice is a bit higher than Manilow's, but very similar.

I had no idea who he was till today when I saw a video he made saying he was gay, I noticed the vid from someone else's channel that I'm subscribed to and the video was titled Billy Gilman's story so I decided to see what the video was about and watching it I still had no idea he was famous all I knew was it was a person on KZread telling his story and the comments on the video was disabled and I saw this video that I'm typing this post on attached to the video about his story so I decided to leave a comment here. I after I found out he was famous I didn't understand why he would make a KZread video like that but he explained why an now I understand yeah it's better to hear it straight from the horse's mouth because the media loves to twist things, he seemed like a decent fella and I know coming out like that must have been difficult like I said I didn't know who he was nor was I familiar with his music all I knew was here's a person who's just trying to be who he is and live his life in peace and not bother anybody, and you can't kick a man for that. I wish him the best an hope things turn out ok for him.

When billys Onevoice Cd came out in 2000? I loved it. I feel a kinship with him. I was also from new england, I was a bullrider in the Gay rodeo, and had a love for country music. SO SO typical of country music and its HOMOPHOBIC market to try to make billy go away. AWESOME response by billy in his coming out video!! Also what a Talent as he has grown up, GOOD LOOKING for sure but way more important great voice and stage presence. I hope billy if you read this that you become wildly heard again. I like the version when his voice has not changed. Like the song though.

So this singer is 21 now? I'm glad for him he can still sing high notes. My idol Greyson Chance isn't that lucky. He's 17, after voice broken his voice now went down 8 octaves, it completely changed his style and even his vision of life *sigh*
