Beautiful place! The palm 🌴 trees remind me of South Florida! And it seem like Okinawa is warm year around.

I love Okinawa. I was stationed there while active in the Marine Corps from 2013-2015. Definitely gonna go back there again one of these days soon.

@@Chaser4906 I was stationed there from 78-82 and it was stupid hot/humid all the time except a little cool at nights/mornings during the winter months. I had a kerosene heater when I lived off base just for the mornings just to knock off the chill. When I moved on base, I kept the central air in the 60s all the time. Lots of rain equals lots of humidity.....you get use to it. Have fun if you're going there. :)

Watching from UK, no hoodies, full face balaclavas, scooters trying to run you down, overly obese people, people fighting, honking, people cycling in their bikes with big speakers playing non sense music, just good vibes! Hope they keep it that way!

Thinking about taking a trip here to Japan. Any restaurants, hotels, activities I should get into. What is the weather like?

Would be great if he actually showed some shops while passing and busy side streets instead of just speed walking down the sidewalk.

I was stationed in Okinawa at Camp Hansen from 2008-2010. Great times in Kin Village or "sinville" like we liked to call it in the Marines. I plan on traveling out there again one day in the future. Naha, it still kinda looks the same.

This is nice, but I wish it has less tourist stuff, and more of the community outside those areas. Parks, temples, neighborhood streets, canals and lakes, etc. Wherever and whatever the locals do.

Okinawa is part of Japan. It is the largest of the Okinawa Islands and the Ryukyu Islands of Japan in the Kyushu region. It is officially controlled by Japan and is located in the northeastern end of Okinawa Prefecture. They even primarily speak Japanese and write in Japanese.
