Don't go in June unless you enjoy swimming in sludge aka "June grass".....I went last June for the first time in 25 years and the beach and water was black with June grass and seaweed and condos crammed into every square inch of space. Not the beautiful, free spirited Ft. Walton I remembered so fondly. Way too crowded.

"June grass" which is just a fancy and misleading term for Monsanto's Round up running off nearby crops and causing unsightly algae blooms. This POISON should be banned!! There are non toxic ways of killing of weeds. Shame on them. This never happened before Roundup became a thing.

Is it still warm there? Whats the temperature there in that area?
