It's not a return in that K. Rool hasn't been in Smash before, but it has been a long time since we've seen him in the flesh. Seriously. His last physical appearance [barring trophies and cameos] was TEN YEARS AGO. That's a long time for a character to be missing and still manage to come back.

@@nivolord in DK64, the microphone introducing the Kongs and K Rool in the final fight refers to him as King Krusha K. Rool. Krusha isnt in his actual name, its just a nickname

I absolutely ADORE this piece! Hearing both an orchestrated Crocodile Cacophony AND K Rool Duel is just...amazing! Love you guys, keep up the amazing work! C’est incroyable!

This song is my freakin inspiration, if I need a song to listen to while I draw dis will be it! You can totally tell the atmosphere your going for! And it fits so well! You can hear times for panic and struggle and triumph in it! I love this a lot!

The beginning spunds like if there were a Donkey Kong Country cartoon episode wherein King K. Rool wakes up after a Christmas Carol situation, to find that it's still Christmas, and that he hasn't yet missed Christmas.

Amazing! Long live the king! The boxing match is unsurprisingly a good song to work out to.

Wow, the entire N64 battle! You guys are incredible, crisp sound, great performances and arrangements. Hope more will discover you. Also the guy running for his life in the Bowser medley was boss. EDIT: Since you did Mario RPG I also suggest a Mario & Luigi medley since they remake the first game anyway.

Wise hits so many thematic elements in this. There's a slight nautical feel to it while also sounding like royal march. The soundtracks for those games were goddamn masterpieces.

The way this was composed was so tasty I LOVE IT

Funny thing is that I've heard that the "Krool" pronunciation is how it was originally meant to be pronounced. I guess Ultimate will confirm it once and for all. (Forgive me if it has been already, I'm not that familiar with any of the DK games after DKC3)
