I just recently starting using Newsh and also found it to be very effective. It's major limitation compared to tradition washes is that some sculpts just won't be practical to use with it. For example, I have a demon miniature with a LOT of spikes and there is no way for me to effectively wipe off the Newsh after applying it. And some models have very closed off poses making it difficult to wipe down... just a word to the wise. It's not perfect for every sculpt but it's an excellent product nonetheless.
I Just recently picked up newsh and did a similar verdigris effect. one thing i've learned is to add water for finer details that you want to shade. Also, use a wet makeup sponge to get smoother wipes/cleanup vs dry sponges for rougher weathering effects.
I really appreciate you doing a verdigris with the Newsh.
Yes, keep experimenting. Would like to see more.
Finally got two bottles of the stuff in the mail today! Been waiting for a couple months to get ahold of the newsh, looking forward to seein what kind of results it can produce
I've been using the same wash mixture to good success on tanks and such. It really simplified the whole process for me. Another cool use outside of just washes is using a drop of Newsh as a retarding agent for stuff like wet blending and such to pretty great success.

Using it as an acrylic retarder is also on my list 😀
Using a damp brush it's really good for doing fade/blends
I really like your result, better than other videos using Newsh that I've watched, maybe because your experience with oil washes? I have a doubt, what would be the difference between using Newsh and using some kind of retarder medium? Vallejo Glaze Medium also seems to extend drying time and reduce surgace tension. It would be cool to se a side by side conparison.
Great video, thanks! What’re the handles you have on the bases of the orks? They look great

Glad you liked it! Those are repurposed corks from liquor bottles with some poster tac on them. They're basically the perfect size.
Oooo it's out of stock, will keep an eye out. I wonder how it works with Scalecolor Artist acrylics; I love them but mostly use them for very fine details, this could certainly give me more flexibility with them. (For oil washes I've been using griffin alkyd as I'm alergic to linseed oil, and while it works, this could be a step up in quality in my particular case)

I'm not sure how they'd work with heavier body acrylics. The pigment density is certainly there, so I would think it should work. I might actually be trying it with some heavy-body white for a project, soon.
Does Newsh grays out the colours? Did you test Newsh with colours of other colour brands like Vallejo?
I'll have to get some. I always make a sticky, smelly mess when using oils.
