Oil gauge says 10 psi, but I don't believe it.

Keep on keeping on! Someday America will appreciate small farmers, don’t know if I’ll live to see it!

It'll take an Enron type collapse before they wake up. Its never good to put all the eggs in one basket. When you have 10 options you have a backup if one fails but when you have one option and it fails you have nothing.

I like watching the videos to see if you followed all of my instructions.... And you did exactly what I told you to do! Good job!

If you fixed it right in the first place I wouldn't have these problems.

Use a grease gun hose to get your gauge out into the open.

The sending unit on the top of the radiator is the water level indicator.

That makes sense. It hasn't worked since I've owned the tractor anyway.

On our 1486 we never trusted the electric gauge so bought one like that ran it in the cab with copper line found a spot on the dash drilled a hole made the gauge look factory. Also had to run an aftermarket fuel gauge same way all nice and neat tho looks good

This was just temporary but I'm going to change it around some by rerouting the temp tubing with the wiring to the alternator. That should give enough slack to be able to mount the gauges up on the dash better and I'm going to get the copper tubing for the oil gauge and should be able to run that through the same spot with the temp.

I can see 20 but I'd still be leary at 10.🤔 My suspicion was because even at higher rpm it wasn't much more than 20. I'm just glad it was as simple as a gauge.

A 986 with a turbo charger lol. I’m guessing it’s now like a 1086 for hp? Did you blow it up a while back or did you just decide to get it rebuilt?

Same as a 1486. 1086 has a 414 in it. 986 has a 436 and the 1486 has a 436 turbo. I had a sleeve go bad and leaked coolant so with the hours it had on it I just went ahead and did the overhaul
