I know right, sadly we are buying a Ford diesel next. It is much easier to delete, tune and build nicely since the whole underside isn’t sprayed in that black tar from factory. It’ll be a really awesome project!

I use the same for my 2019 Chevrolet with the 6.6L diesel engine. Are used signature series in my engine, transmission, transfer case in front and rear differentials. I also use 5W40. And you can also get it in a 2.5 gallon jug instead of getting 10 to 11 quarts of oil. And you save some money too.

Working on diesels was most definitely the dirtiest job I've ever had! Pro of having a lifted truck is the ease of getting underneath it with the Con of needing a step ladder to refill it 😆

It stained my arms later on. Very happy I made the decision to wear gloves on this job. This season was hotter than normal. A ton of my plants died at the house.. hopefully we have a good cold winter now!

Just started watching your videos and I like them. I do want to say that I sell products like oil, diesel fuel additives, fuel additives etc. and would put them up against any product out there. Amazing products sold since 1916. If you would be interested in finding out more then just let me know. I feel confident you would be thoroughly pleased and would use our products. I’m Stacy.

Good safety tip: Put the used oil from the pan into a container(s) before removing the oil filter. Should the oil filter slip out of your hands it will avoid a big mess. Also it will give you a good place to put the used oil filter.

There are these gloves I use only for draining oil when hot. The brand is LOCO and they are called Food Handling Gloves. Home Depot sells them. It absorbs a good amount of heat. Check it out. Maybe useful for you. Great video. Hope you had a great day.

Thank you so much for the recommendation I will have to look into those. I buy gloves and end up going through a whole box within a couple weeks and of course the super dirty diesel jobs come up and I don’t have them!! Lol thank you for the help, I appreciate the support!

You should do a video on how to change the spark plugs... jk. Another good video. You have a rim/tire guy you deal with in the valley? I got mine running and looking to get a setup. Vid in profile. Say hi if you see me out sometime.

Fun fact is, if you check the truck's oil by the dipstick, you'll see it's already black. It's normal, all diesel do it. Yes 0F is -18C and -40F is the same as -40C. I live in Canada, ask me how I know...😬

Absolutely agree! I’ve never seen oil this dirty in my life but it’s also my first time touching a diesel. It’s a brand new truck that is very well maintained so I knew it would be fine. Oh boy if you live in Canada I hope you are a good skier! I go to Whistler all the time in the winter!

@@KaylaRundle Years ago I used to cross-country skiing, because where I live, the French province of Canada, Québec, doesn't really have be mountains other than the Appalachians that end here. I had about 5 VW diesel (not turbo) so I know how dirty they are, even though they were not very poweful (52 hp, 71 lb-ft).

Another example of success based solely on her looks. 2.4k views and 247 likes in 10 hours to watch someone change their oil? If some average looking girl or guy made literally the same exact video, it would have practically no views or likes. She can do the most mundane things and get all this attention and likes and accolades just because she is attractive. Notice they always make sure to put on tight pants, short shorts and or low cut tops to make every video. Then spend half the video making sure to get their chest or butt as the main focus. It's not even that I fault her, I just feel bad for others out there that actually have better content and skills and put in way more effort, but don't get the success just because they are not as good looking. This girll could make a video about changing her registration sticker and 1000s of guys would be fawning all over her telling her how great she is. It's bizarre.

I agree with this 100% literally was going to say the same thing . They know they aren’t gonna get views doing certain stuff normally so they add extra details in it . And yeah these weak men gonna pop out and compliment her for that knowing they only clicked to see certain things not the actual oil change .
