Mine came black caps on the ends of the filter am I suppose to take that off before inserting the cartridge into the oil filter?

I don't understand why you added a bit more after saying it was right on the dot. When you warm the engine up to operating temperature it might be overfull.

Just a tip top oil filter but u know little bit salt and pepper on that sandwich with be tasty that kinda of though

the filter will take some of the oil when you start it. you should check the oil and top off if needed

Doesn't the owner's manual state how much oil to add? No need to pour then measure then pour again. Shouldn't adding oil as per the specs provide the right amount?
How can we change the oil of gearbox with a automatic machine
