keep in mind you have to google valorant to download it, so everytime someone downloads valorant it's going to add to the google trend graph. also a raise or dip in searches does not correlate with the players, for example where apex legends peaks in google searches they had 300k peak players around that time, but a year later apex gets half to a third of the google searches but peaks at 600k players

@@notkwcly1368 Yeah, but what I meant was if you open worldwide map and put cs + valorant most countries are still in favour in CS especially in EU :) so global Valorant dominance coming from from couple of countries. We know that Americans can't keep playing the same game for too long cause they get bored so naturally NA gives massives boost for Valorant. Also we need to keep in mind that Valorant is the new hot transfer student everyone's wants to chat. I personally like Valorant but I dislike RIOT games. They are rubish and all their communities suck.

@@vecislt ah ok ok I see. yeah I use to like valorant, I was immo 3 going for radiant but quit since they seem to be going the route of fortnite where they focus on the casuals, and just keep releasing things to try to keep people from leaving. I mainly play apex legends now and it's huge in Japan and China, I get a match instantly on Japan servers but not NA because like you said NA gets bored lmao

Can't compare something mostly asian kids play to something every single country and age plays. That's like comparing mandarin chienese (language with most users on planet) to English (most spreaded language across the globe) Mandarin is more spoken but you can use it only in like 4 countries while even somali pirates or sentinel islands cannibals speak some english.

Like I said you cannot compare one game to another. Each has its own fanbase and players playing it. You saying mobile legends are only played in Asia is actually wrong.

I think Valve has a poor marketing strategy compared to Riot. I can see it because I'm not from NA, where the Valorant community is growing and CS is getting quieter, and I have trouble finding a team to play with in CS.

Valve has never relied on marketing. Their games are usually more polished and stable than any other competitor. Also many people chose play Valorant because of it's accessibility (or to follow streamers). Better 128 tick servers, easier visibility, better anticheat and more content. As soon as CS2 comes out and Valve releases all this, then the real competition begins.
