Honestly there should be an in-between rather than letting the player choose the maps. Imo best solution is a randomised list of only 4 or 5 maps that you pick/ban. CS all you do is play the same 3 maps, and in Valorant you play 6 garbage maps out of 7

I think better off that everyday the game ban some maps and keep others, and on another day the game ban other maps, the map ban system is random, and there's good CSGO maps, so you mostly have a map you like to play on regardless of what maps are banned, Can't say the same for Valorant since I hear that Valorant maps are bad.

Ive had a good playtime of both games but cs is overall better. If Val had movement of some sort with agents other than raze and neon the skill ceiling would be much higher, which is why cs is better comp wise. Not to mention cs maps are way better overall (coming from a val player myself, I hate the maps in this game lmao)

Started with CS in early 2014, took me almost 4 years to fully master the mechanics and I'm still learning even now. Moved to Valorant when it launched because it was something new, a nice change after playing cs for so much. The second ranked came out in the beta I grinded. Takes about 3 days of actual playing and you're going to speed run through every rank. It's still there even now, I play the occasional game every few months with friends and I just get placed in ascendant or higher, the top bracket of the game and play significantly better than them all. It's not that Valorant is a bad game, it's that it has no learning curve past learning how the economy works, and even then I'd hardly call it learning when it tells you how much you've got next round... Moved back to CS after a few months because holy shit you miss the feeling of getting railed by some guy who can only use a deagle but is so clean with it you just accept your fate

The games are practically the fucking same, you could argue that valorant has a higher skill ceiling because of the autistic abilities, random spray patterns, and first bullet inaccuracy bullshit. Cs players are just mad that their game is long fucking dead and is basically a gambling market for children. Most players even at global are absolutely fucking horrendous and don’t know how to play the game so when they see valorant and try to understand it they can’t and they cry because the game requires more than 70 iq to play. Csgo used to be fun but now it’s dead to me. Valorant is new and still has that spark that cs used to have. I hope things change when source 2 releases.

CSGO is simple yet complex game of pure skill, no extra bullshit or cartoons. And also very realistic and mature gameplay, suited for all generations. In simpler words, it is a legendary game in it’s own league. Valorant is cool game for my 8 yo nephew.

My friends used to play cs and went to valorant bcs you need to buy prime for cs to get ingame drop and ranks. cs skins are based on subjective valuation, players determine that value of the skins in cs.

and valorant skins are made to empty your wallet cs skins is more wallet friendly, i.e you can at least sell them if $8000 is what people are willing to pay, riot would also sell each individual weapon skins at $8000 difference is, riot could never sell an $8000 skin and valve never have sold an $8000 skin valve only provide the means for users to sell an item that could be worth $8000, nobody said it has to be $8000 they all just agreed to it

"cs skins more wallet friendly" "8000$" Reality check. Valorant offers cheap skins and knives at an expense of being untradeable. Cs offers an open market for skins that have high prices due to scarcity and chinese collectors. Neither product is better than other, both is designed to create desirable tradeoffs to compete for the demand. But If you ask my opinion as a both cs and valorant enjoyer, at least valorant does not turn kids into future gambling addicts with scam cases that offer 5% profit on average.

@@0kayegs577 csgo skins are assets that can be liquified, valorant skins value drops immediately as time goes by even if you were to sell your valorant account somehow it will have less return than csgo i have friends that sell their dota 2 and csgo skins to buy games on steam, they essentially spent money on games they like which then allows them to buy games without spending any extra money with valo they'd spent money on valo then spend more to buy games they're not addicts who spends hundreds to thousand of dollars every month or so on opening boxes, they just spend some tens of dollar every month for their hobby did they make an overall profit? no but its like buying a couple games every month $8000 is not necessarily the cost unless you make it to be, $8000 is a potential worth of any given skin

@@0kayegs577 the best case of csgo skin profit through legitimately opening cases that is randomly dropped... is me i've only ever opened 2 cases using leftover steam wallet money, first case was a knife which i sold for about $250. second case is just some rarer skin worth a slight bit more than the key i bought ~$6 is all i ever spent on csgo cases very few could've gotten such dumb luck but most have a rather healthy relationship with opening cases, the crazy stories are just that crazy which aren't the norm its like using the news to base you knowledge about other country, its going to sound like a crazy country because news and gossips talk about "spicier" topics

With my 4k hours in cs i prefer valorant.Its much more complex and different yet shooting at the enemy feels snappy and right never felt that in MM not even in face it.Gameplay wise there is so much more to learn rather than 2 smoke line ups per map.Ik he maybe trolling but shitting on valorant while playing cs is like driving renault clio and shitting on lambo.And yes i rather give 40$ for an actual dragon sniper than to sell my house to buy a skin which looks like a stick with a tattoo

It's complex to it's own detriment though. If Valorant continues it's agent release cycle, it's gonna end up just like league, riot's other game. It will be bloated with many abilities that do the same things, unneeded amounts of complexity, and it will be a nightmare to balance adding so many variables, and will eventually be too overwhelming for new players with the sheer amount of different gimmicks they need to learn. CS will be easy to learn compared to valorant within a year or two, it will be easy to learn, but hard to master. The skill ceiling for shooting is also lower at the top end since spray transfers are unreliable in Valo, forcing everyone to only tap or burst fire.

1. At a high level cs is WAY deeper than 2 smoke lineups per map. 2. Buying skins in Valo means your money is gone. In CS you can sell your skins and get most of your money back. 3. There are a lot of cheap, good looking skins in CS. There are multiple decent awp skins for less than 40$
