They have this entire concert available and you can react to them live if it doesn’t get shut down by KZread. The question is who killed Mary… you will have listen to the whole album to understand the depth of the story.

I have loved this band since 1984. Their original line-up of band members were like a well oiled machine pumping out fantastic music one after another. Their catalog goes from hard to ballads to emotional. They got pretty soft during the 1990-2010s, but the band regrouped in 2013 and went back to their original style-mix and their new albums are worth a listen. I recently saw them open for Judas Priest in an arena and then they headlined a small rock club in NYC to promote their new album. The song that always blows people away with Geoff's voice is - Take Hold Of The Flame (Live In Tokyo)

There is a video called "Operation Livecrime" where they perform this entire concept album live. Definitely worth your time even if you choose to watch outside your channels. This song takes place in the latter third of the work after he's been arrested and is being accused of the nun's murder (among others) and he's telling himself that what he felt for her was not real. It's a dark and compelling story.

There are tons of great Queensryche songs, one of the singer(Geoff Tate) best live performances was in Japan back in 1984. His vocal range is really showcased in Take Hold Of The Flame, Live in Tokyo 1984. React to that version.

THANK YOU for doing more Queensryche! Loved your reaction, and happy you enjoyed it. Take note, that Queensryche is in the subgenre of Progressive Metal: meaning deeper lyrics, concept album and more sophisticated instrumentation. BTW, my 1st concert was Kiss in February 1985 and Queensryche opened the show, so Queensryche is technically the first band I ever saw live.

BEST band of all time! Yes, as others have said , this is from the concept album, "OPERATION: MINDCRIME". It is one long story told in flashback. VERY well done, musically, lyrically, VOCALLY, and conceptually! I agree with you how well the band members work so well together! They aren't grandstanding, but are playing what the song needs as a whole. YOU.WILL.LOVE.THEM Please do more!

Do you know what made me personally very happy? This is the fact that on your wall there is a portrait of Barry Gibb from the Bee Gees, who have only the most indirect relation to rock! This means that all is not lost in this world! I also really like listening to Queensryche!

Two words - 'Silent Lucidity'. Briliant! One of the best metal ballads ever. Two other of my favourites would be 'Jet City Women' and 'Another rainy Night (Without You)'. They were often too heavy for my taste but the album Empire for me is a classic.

Queensryche was remarkable. Their concept albums, Geoff Tate's voice, the musical talent... make them one of the greats. On the softer side, they have one very special song in particular, called Silent Lucidity.

I know you guys don't really do this kind of thing, but watch the entire album in its entirety. I have a playlist of all of the music videos filled in with concert footage for the tracks that didn't have videos. It's an incredible story, and I fell in love with it the first time I heard it! Their next album, "Empire" doesn't have a bad track on it, either. You need to pay attention to the footage in the videos, as well as the lyrics, so you'll likely have to listen to Mindcrime more than once to absorb it all. Note: I don't have any of those videos on my channel, just the playlist I assembled from other sources. But here it is... kzread.info/head/PLs_5xG067eNZvfisy5-p-eVh2E7Ihs3E6
