Old primitive baptist tune. I have sang it with this exact tune in little church houses all over the mountains. I think of it as a prayer to the Lord asking for very high blessings. May it please him to grant this that the songs asks for to suffering zion wherever she be. A peaceful hour in which to cross over. I have listened to this version many times, it comforts my soul.

Beautiful! I sang this hymn at the Florida Fellowship Meeting of Primitive Baptists in Macclenney Florida in January and loved it! What a wonderful way to pass to our home in Heaven!

Doesn't get much better than this. You guys killed it, can't help but smile like a dork. Aurelia- this song/arrangement is so stunning in just about any formation. ( Although Village Harmony & all those Associated do a pretty damn good job! ;) )

this is one of the musical performances you cannot reproduce. Just call it a one-hit wonder....but still amazing.

that's just about as good as someone can sing a song....period LOL. Congrats to all the group, that was a real blessing.
