incase you havent seen it yourself, workaround for the crashing was posted on mod disc In this file ..\steamapps\common\Warhammer 40,000 DARKTIDE\bundle\application_settings\win32_settings.ini you can find this line memory_dump_state_enabled = true set it to false. fixed all crashing for me. \o/

@@Raghtal Had to disable all mods earlier just to be able to stay in a match longer than 3 minutes. Definitely gonna reinstall everything and try that when I get on later, I'll come back to confirm edit: it worked. 3 games no crashes so far

@@TheMasteratLink i havent had a crash since i changed it myself. I've been playing nonstop for about 10 hours or so. i have pretty good hardware tho, so im not sure if its as stable on lower end systems.

A fun addition would be a slight reduction in rocks regen time when you're wielding a pickaxe. Since it is, like, made to extract rocks

Even insane is an understatement. An absolute godsend! (but a bit bugged at the moment haha)

I think the branx in particular is a really good weapon that requires actual skill to use effectively. it's attacks are not like the shield's where you mindlessly H1 the whole time or the bully club that you can effortlessly thwack everything with. With the branx, you have to do stuff like be mindful of which attacks are about to come out and close gaps with side dodges a lot more than the other weapons of the class

Branx being one of the two pickaxes able to onetap crushers with a fully charged thrust is invalueable in higher difficulty tiers I think. Especially with how zongoboinko the director is with maulers and crushers.

Yes, I noticed that too. If you just spam H1 in a horde you're going to have a hard time. Still need to figure out the attack combo against hordes. But against anything bigger that axe is a monster.

@@narkosfera1421 the horde combo is a light - heavy - light- heavy- repeat, first swing is an overhead and the following ones are sweeps, can also initiate into it with special attack or push attack. Still sucks against hordes because of how slow it is, but eh at least it's something.

@@Skilow You can mix in Block Push Attack into Heavy - Light - Heavy - Light. Gives you a little more space for that ungodly long heavy swing animation

If you use the slow and steady blessing you should be able to take on hordes without losing any health in the process

Havent tried maelstrom yet, but I love the branx pick, it just brings joy to my heart watching it crunch through heretics

Stuns the enemy and allows to chain into an overhead attack to do a cool finisher.

The branx has the bash attack, not the pull. You can use it to stop a trapper or a dog from grabbing you in a quick pinch if you don't have enough time to get a swing off. I think it will halt a mauler overhead as well but I might be wrong on that

What is your opinion on Bromentum on getting nerfed for 1-shotting a Crusher conga line? Is it a waste of a blessing now or it's still good enough for Mauler conga line?

karsolas suffers form not having loopable strikedowns they are all good but could do with minor moveset tweaking karsolas looping special strikedown heavy into L4 branx H2 queuing made tighter, special heavy followup made into an overhead linking to H1 borovian L3 made to chain into H2

Out of all pickaxes, Borovian is my favorite. Really enjoying it, although the grind for it's blessings is a tiresome deed...

Love the pickaxes but everytime i try to use them i either run into a super massive gunner hord or get bullied too death gunners and the one issue i have with it is i cant kill hords fast enough

I use the grenade gauntlet with it to stop those gunners. You shouldn't have an issue dealing with hordes so long as you glide your camera along with your attack pattern

no the opposite, pickaxes got slide attacks so now it's just a thing that can be added (power maul got a slide attack)

it's a mod that does some very, very bad things to the game so is kept private for the time being seed does nothing dw about it, the only way to play saved seeds is on solo mode

May I interest you in the branx pick with unyielding perk and thrust + limbsplitter blessings :P
